Unfortunately, we all have legal limits on materials and currently that means exterior control for 35 to 60 days. Again, carpenter ant control is primarily an “outside” problem in addition to treating the house. Since none of these materials last even for one year it is necessary to perform regular maintenance or become re-infested.
Spiders
Spiders are active throught the summer but are most active during the fall. We take special care to treat those areas that are breeding places for spiders such as attics and crawl spaces. Baseboards and the bottoms of closets are also inside areas of activity. Outside
Bees
Yes, wasps and bees can be effectively treated through a one time service, making removal both cost efficient and fast.
Wasps
Wasps and bees typically select sites that offer some kind of protective overhang. From this they suspend their downward-facing nests by a stalk. Wasps build and maintain their nest out of a special kind of paper, which it manufactures itself. The insect collects fibers of plants and dead wood, chewing the cellulose-rich material to add a sticky, high protein saliva. When applied, the resulting paste dries to form a light, firm, yet tough paper. The finished product is a waterproof, paper umbrella-covered cluster of hexagonal cells.
They usually show up in areas where food is stored or where garbage containers are located such as under sinks. An inspection is needed to determine the best approach as houses are as different as people.
