Beaver Towing

Now closed and torn down with an empty lot.

My initial dealing with Beaver Towing was pleasant. They got to me quick after a call to AAA, the driver was friendly and pleasant and things were going well. When dropping my car off at the mechanics the driver started to remove the hydraulic ram without it being all the way on the ground, which lead to some cracking and popping sounds. The driver had almost torn off the front bumper and broke the radiator core support in front of my wife and mechanic. He was apologetic and gave us the number to the towing office to get it taken care of. The owner/manager is claiming that it was prior damage and that I will have to sue to get the repairs taken care of. Please avoid this company at all costs.

I have had my car towed in downtown Portland millions of times it seems like because my office is down there so getting to the meter is not always easy three times a day and the parking enforcement losers, are..welll,....losers! Every towing company I have ever been towed by had drivers and an office staff that were the biggest bunch of jerks I have ever met EXCEPT for the guys at Beaver Towing. My car was already hitched up so I knew legally they are not allowed to undo that since my issue is with the city. I was so shocked at how nice everyone was that I have personally used Beaver Tow since this incident and they are the only towing company in Portland Metro I recomme

After calling around to a couple of tow companies, chose Beaver Towing because the lady on the phone was nice pleasant, and didn't give me a price quote for more mile than my car was being towed. The driver showed up promptly and was more than willing to try a couple alternate options before towing my car. He also gave a quick run down on what he thought was up with my car to the mechanic. He was definitly a trooper in the cold rainy weather.

The other review couldn't of been more wrong.... I had a wonderful experience, they came in the middle of the night to pick up me and my vehicle with my children and I felt very comfortable... I would recommend this towing company to anyone in need as they acted very professional...

My vehicle was stolen and when the police found it they called beaver towing (as is normal when a stolen vehicle is recovered). Let me just say that I have never dealt with a more rude group of people than these ones. When questioned the process of retrieving my vehicle (not an expert by any means and had no idea of what I needed) they were abusive, mean, and at one point the lady was screaming at me and they kicked me out of their store. I spoke to the police who spoke to them and basically ordered them to return my vehicle. The officer apologized and said he had never dealt with a ruder bunch and that he wanted to go down there and tell them off himself if it wouldn't have been unprofessional of him as an officer of the law. Needless to say I'm filing a complaint with the towing association and I think (officer agreed) that the act was just a ploy to get more money out of me. STAY AWAY! I cannot emphasize this more STAY AWAY!
