Communications Workers of America Local 7901, located in Portland, Ore., represents more than 1,000 private and public sector workers. The organization bargains contracts for its members with over 10 companies in the telecommunications, printing, publishing, and public union representatives fields. It serves workers throughout south western Washington and Oregon. The organization provides information about a range of labor issues that include diversity, safety and rights. Communications Workers of America Local 7901 also advocates for better working conditions, wages and benefits. In addition, it operates a retire members club provides retirees with a vehicle to protect and fight for the issues that affect them as retirees and family members.
