Whether you are interested in a leisurly day at the beach or a hard-core technical diving expedition, the staff of ADA is here to help.We carry a full line of water sports equipment for scuba, snorkeling, swimming and surfing. Our team of instructors can train you in all facets of scuba diving and we offer guided tours to some of Maine's most beautiful dive locations. We are a full Nitrox facility.Several times a year we organize dive trips to various exotic diving locations around the world. If you are interested in diving a specific location, we can arrange a dive trip for you and your dive friends. If you are coming to Portland from out of town, we can help organize your local dive trip to scenic Maine Diving locations.Aqua Diving Academy, your full service in the water sports store.         Extremely knowledgeable staff - from everything from recreational to competitive/open water swimming, and from basic to highly technical scuba diving. Some surf gear, as well! Massive selection - if you don't see something, ask! They probably have it or will order it for you! The large inventory can be intimidating, but they try to keep it light and educate. Family and dog friendly! Very cool touch tank/aquarium, too. Check it out!

        Aqua Diving Academy needs to learn how to treat customers!! I have tried to shop there numerous times and was treated badly. Never again! They are very rude and pushy and follow you like a hawk through the store until you buy something. I've never been lectured, insulted and talked down to at a dive shop like I was at ADA. Not to mention, they are overpriced! Don't waste your time and money!
