I had a non-emergency plumbing problem: the toilet tank was slowly leaking. I called Bill Shafer Plumbing. That afternoon technician Vinnie called and told me he would be at my house in a half hour. And he was. He examined the situation, turned off the water to the house, removed the broken parts in the toilet tank, replaced them with a new set, turned the water back on, and flushed the toilet several times.
No more problem!
The process took about 15 minutes.
I know no plumbers in the area. I looked on line at the dozen or so plumbing companies in the area, and chose Bill Shafer Plumbing.
Rarely am I this lucky.
Vinnie is a polite, professional with a friendly demeanor. He is a good advertisement for Bill Shafer.
This is a "go to" company.

One word...Carmen the Super plumber works for Bill Shafer. He came out yesterday and installed a new water heater. He explained what he was doing as he worked and just has GOOD customer service. I learned stuff about plumbing and Carmen cleaned up the work area that it looked better than before he came. This is the 2nd job I had with Shafer plumbing and Clint did a good job 5 months ago. I'm telling you, NOBODY is going to get my plumbing but Bill Shafer Plumbing. And people try to get Carmen cause hes Super plumber without the cape! 😜

I was very happy with the service. They came out when they said they would, called 10 minutes before, fixed the problem efficiently and reasonably priced. Great company!

Bill Shafer was very professional. I’ve used them on more than on one occasion and never disappoints. I called them one time because I had a leak on the little valve under the sink with the little handle to turn off the faucet. They were able to tell me over the phone how to turn it with a wrench to make it stop leaking. I offered to send them a check for helping me but they wouldn’t let me. Shhh I sent one anyway but they never cashed it but I tried. This last time was after hours 2:30 in the morning the pipe for my toilet blew apart and flooded my house. They answers the phone 1st time I called and Carmen was out here in less than an hours time he turned water off made the repair and was gone in less than an hour. The after hours rate was a lot cheaper than I expected ( I’ve heard horror stories before that Roto rooter Charles 350 just to show up after hours) my entire bill was leas than $200 at 3am. I cannot complain. The honored there Sr/ Military discount as always. Thank you Bill Shafer you never Disappoint 😃

I called around 4 pm with an broken hot water heater emergency at y elderly moms house. . My sister called at least 8 other plumbers prior. Most had no availability for several days & others would take longer. Eric answered & called he said he could come tonite & cap off the water, then replace it the next day. Can beat that! Thanks Eric!!

So pleased with Carmen’s ability and skill in his Profession that we will definitely call you again for future work. Carmen replaced an old galvanized joint that was leaking and some of the galvanized pipe with PVC. Jim looked at it again today and it is still solid and NOT leaking!! And a nice Guy!! I needed my hot water heater replaced. Carmen came out the next day..on time☺. Very professional,
worked diligently
and had the job done in about 2 hours and even brought it up to code. He even cleaned up the work area ! Thank you Carmen for everything! And I spoke with Bill over the phone twice and such a nice man. Very informative and explained everything. Can't thank this company enough for getting me hot water during this covid 19 virus crisis. Called and left a message Tuesday, never received a call back. Called again Wednesday and spoke with someone, said I had a leak and was told they would call back to see if someone could come out, again, no call back.

I had set up an appointment for the next day as the situation I had was not an emergency. After making the appointment the situation (leak got much worse) became more urgent. I contacted the service again I was informed there wasn't anyone available to come right away so the appointment was left for the next day after I shut off the water to the house . Much to my surprise, Carmen arrived in the afternoon. He assessed the problem and proceeded to remedy the leak and install the new toilet I had. His initiative to come the day before the appointment absolutely made my day! His professionalism was great while the person answering the phone seemed unconcerned. Carmen is my hero and I will definitely use and recommend Shafer Plumbing in the future.
