Professionalism

I have been using Bloomfield Pointe Vet Clinic for almost 15 years. We have taken 5 different pets here, 3 of which we still have. He has taken care of all our pets illness needs as well as spayed and neutered our pets. We moved farther away and now use a clinic for wellness visits (shots and such) but still take our pets here when ill. This office has always been thoughtful and taken good care of our pets.

TERRIBLE, ALL ABOUT MONEY

My cat was blocked(couldn't pee)he stayed over night at the vet.2 hours after I picked him up he was blocked again.I paid $350 nd the problem wasn't fixed. The vet tld me my cat could only eat special food,he also said"We are the only place that sells it" I found the same food somewhere else cheaper, but u need a prescription to buy it. I ask him to write me a script for the food because he was the one that prescribed it,he told me my cat couldn't be on that food for the rest of his life when I told him I found it somewhere cheaper ,but he originally told me (This was the only food my cat could eat) He wanted me to buy the food from him,nd not the other place. He eventually told me it would be $35 for him to write the script,nd hung up on me..I was not being rude or belligerent to him..He is very rude, but the girls that work their are very sweet...I would never go back because he is all about the money...

Not happy!

Just got my dog back today. He was there since last monday. So a week. I called to check on him. I was told. Oh hes doing great. Hes eating and everything. I get there today, and i first noticed he seemed tired.. almost sick. Not as happy to see me as a 11 month old pit should be, and when i reached down to pet him he cowered down all the way to his elbows. Practically laid his whole front down.. next on the way home i spotted blood on my jeans. Started checking him out. One of his nostrils was bleeding, and he had busted blood vessels in his eyes.. he also looked like he lost 10 pounds. Ribs showing and all.. get him home, and immediately goes for his food. He only eats about a cup of food a day. He completely destroys somewhere between 4 and 5 cups.. right after he seem to have more energy. I was raised with Pitts. Correctly raised pitts. Been around other ones that were raised differently, and i know my dog.. no question he was not eating, and no question someone hit him.. which is the number one no no with a pitt.. unsure how im gonna handle this yet! But im not happy.. and just mad!

B.P. Vet Hosp. offers sensitiv...

B.P. Vet Hosp. offers sensitive care for pets left there and they are housed, fed and cared for properly. Records are appropriately kept to ensure pet medicines are dispensed and required inoculations are administered. Keeping these records for your reference permits their use for obtaining dog licenses, etc.
