The Ponca City Medical Center is a 140-bed facility that provides a variety of medical care services. Its staff specializes in the fields of cardiology, anesthesiology, dentistry, gynecology, hematology, neurology, obstetrics, oncology and ophthalmology. The center offers pain management, wound care, vascular surgery and rehabilitative services. The Ponca City Medical Center employs a staff of more than 400 staff members. It also performs a range diagnostic imaging examinations, including bone densitometry, CT scan, lithotripsy, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, teleradiology and ultrasound. The center additionally offers 24-hour emergency response services and provides stress testing, nutrition counseling and Holter monitoring services. It operates an emergency department, wellness center, labor and delivery nursery and intensive care unit. The Ponca City Medical Center, located in Ponca City, Okla., is accredited by The Joint Commission.
