Vehicle was grossly misdvertised. This was supposed to be like new with less than 25k miles. One owner, clean car fax, "certified pre owned". It was anything but. Critical issues were intentionally withheld. Hidden accident and had faulty transmission. Clearly NOT a certified pre owned vehicle. Simply and absolutely false. This dealership is unethical and deceptive.

I just bought a 96 mercury cougar the car was very clean and immaculate I'm gonna refer my brother and all my friends. The staff was very helpful and the experience was excellent and the process was very fast and the dealership is very nice would recommend century motors of South Florida too every one I know.

I bought a vehicle from century motors of south florida about 3 months ago the service was excellent. Makes you feel right at home NO PRESSURE buying experience. The dealership is very clean and they stand by there word. This dealership is like you would say what you see is what you get. Very Highly Recommended A great buying experience. they have any vehicle from a 1988 fiero too a 2011 buick regal. Very Highly Recommended for anyone's next vehicle. The warranty they offer is good anywhere in the country which is a really good thing that i like too look for. The cars are remarkably clean and beautiful. They offer money back offer guaranty on there vehicle. Austin the finance manager got me a great Finance Rate unbeatable too any other dealership that i went too. I would highly recommend this dealership too all my friends and family a great buying experience.

On March 14, 2014, I flew to Fort Lauderdale and met with the manager, Austin. I was looking for a 97 or 98 Lincoln Mark with low miles that was in excellent condition. At the time, this particular car, was the second highest priced similar model listed on any of the major used car sites. I was willing to pay top dollar to receive a low mileage vehicle in excellent shape. Upon arriving, I was told the vehicle was being washed and readied for sale. After inspection, I noticed that the rear window seal was wavy from sun damage and that the defroster/ heater did not operate correctly. I was told the defroster issue just needed to warm up and the seal would cost about $200 to repair. I agreed to reduce my offer by $100. I purchased the vehicle and brought it back to Jacksonville. Since then, I have determined the window seal is not available and $800 to repair. The defroster needed a new blend door actuator and was $700 (5 hours labor just to dissemble dash); The air conditioner /compressor was completely shot and needed to be replaced, $800. The brake calipers were rusted ( one did not operate and one later seized) and the rotors warped, $ 850. The plug wire harness and boots were completely corroded and needed to be replaced, $250. Additional services including transmission service, radiator service and oil, $225. All total over $3600. I recognize I purchased an old car in "As Is " condition and was prepared to spend some money on servicing it. However, the most disappointing part about all of this is that Century took active steps to conceal some of these issues, some with safety implications, at the time of sale. Obviously these issues would have had an impact on the value and price of the vehicle. For example, the window seal and defroster issues are apparently common to this vehicle model and well known in the industry. Instead, I was specifically told these were minor issues and even quoted a price of $200. Also, the AC compressor showed evidence of being recently charged, which allowed it to blow cold air for a couple of days during the purchase period. Upon inspection however, the old compressor had green dye stains all over it, where it had been leaking for some time and obviously known to your maintenance people. Similarly, and most shocking, the brakes had new pads installed over corroded calipers and warped rotors, again concealing the true nature of the condition of the vehicle. These are all common examples of used car tricks expected from shoddy fly-by-night operators. I expected more. Not only because I specifically was purchasing a low mileage "cream puff" but because Century advertises its company as a dealer that emphasizes customer service and "fully serviced vehicles." Moreover, the owner claims to be President of the trade association. Not a good example for the industry. Needless to say, this experience has left me very disappointed and dissatisfied with Century Motors aka Floridacars1.

I am very happy with my 2005 F...

I am very happy with my 2005 Ford Ranger that I purchased at Century Motors of South Florida. I never felt pressured by the sales staff. Quite the contrary, Austin was very helpful and friendly. I was able to purchase the truck for a fair price and have it inspected by a local mechanic beforehand. Overall great experience!!!

Living in Michigan, the premiu...

Living in Michigan, the premium part of the rust belt, good solid used cars are hard to find. After some thought, I decided to purchase a vehicle from Ebay, and found a listing for a Nissan truck from Century motors.



All parts of the transaction went smoothly, however some time is need when doing such a large purchase. This was expected, and I went to pickup the truck unseen at a local car transport company about two weeks later.



There were some issues with the truck which I worked with Frank to resolve. The truck needed some front end work, and the spare tire was missing. With emails and phone calls, Frank responded, communicated, scheduled, and resolved everything to my satifaction.



Overall the truck was clean, straight, and did not have any major issues with the powertrain. There are some small issues, such as the rear latch being loose (simple fix to replace) and some door molding that is loose, as well as a few scratches on the body. Overall the engine, transmission, rear end as well as the brakes were solid. Not bad at all for a used vehicle with 95k miles.



If you are considering a purchase from Century Motors, I would recommend them. Expect that communication takes time, as it is done via email and phone. Being patient is also needed, as electronic commerce takes time and giving Frank a chance to reply is considerate.



While the cars are used, they are from Florida, clean, rust free, and often single-owner. Once the car is recieved expect to pay for general maintenance, small repairs, as well as having to live with a possible stain or scratch....small stuff (that is easy to repair) for a rust free car that has a solid drivetrain.



Very satified and definitaly would consider buying from Century Motors in the future.

Frank, his wife Gina and salesperson, Austin treated us with respect, friendliness and spent a great deal of time making sure things were right. Frank enjoys teaching about cars and we feel we got a fair price for car in great condition and we will definitely return to this shop in the future.

Believe in the improbable... It's happened to me twice in 2 years. At Century Motors of South Fl I have found my dream cars and the deals of a lifetime. Pre-owned vehicles in primo condition, obviously garaged, with one owner who cared and doted on them, low mileage at the best price ever. Frank and Gina are the best host and hostess, who facilitate the vehicle evaluation process, ensuring the customer leaves fully satisfied with the purchase. WHY CONSIDER ANYONE ELSE ??

I like Frank and his staff, great transaction! I got a great E320 Mercedes Benz at a great price. There service is friendly and honest. There were a few small issues and they took care if it immediately and correctly with kindness and understanding. I have already recommended them to a few of our friends and will continue to do so. There should be more dealers like them around.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! waited 5 hour...

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! waited 5 hours after flying into Florida. to pick up the SUV, that they knew for 2 weeks we were picking up on that day. Franks ad on Ebay said ICE COLD AIR! and ready to drive across the country. ALL LIES!!! He was not even there when we picked the car up, he had some sales person who lied for him and his wife. A/C was not working and check engine light was on. They put some freon in the A/C and said they replaced an ignition coil. Also rear air suspension was making noise. Sales person promised if we had any problems with these issues that he claimed to have fixed, they would make it right, I asked about this before we left that day. We waited 5 hours for the so called repairs they made. Then in less than 2 weeks we started to have problems again. Not to mention that I never got my car tags until after the temp had expired. We have put over $2000.00 in this car to fix these issues and not done yet. Frank and Gina offered nothing when they were told about this every time we contacted them. Very rude and nasty people that are thief's, they take your money and run, they are professional crooks. We paid over book value because we believed what Frank said about the SUV. From the outside it looked great and the miles on it were low for the age. Lesson learned never believe what a sales person says without having an experienced mechanic check it out. So all you out there looking for a good used car STAY AWAY FROM CENTURY MOTORS OF SOUTH FLORIDA!!!! Oh ya after the tags were late arriving and I could not use the car for 3 days, Gina sent a letter with the tags saying we owed them $2.48, needless to say she never got it. We are in the process of contacting Ebay and the Florida BBB on this.

WE PURCHASED A CAR FROM THEM AND ASKED THEIR MECHANIC TO REVIEW THE ENGINE, CONVERTIVLE ROOF ETC. WE ASKED THE OWNER IF THERE WAS ANYTHING OF A LARGE COST WRONG WITH THE CAR SO WE CAN TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION. HE SAID NO, THERE WAS NOT ONE THING WRONG WITH IT EXCEPT SOME COSMETIC FIXES. 3 DAYS LATER THE CONVETRIBLE ROOF STOPPED WORKING COMPLETLY. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE MERCEDES DEALERSHIP AND IT WAS THERE THAT THEY TOLD US THAT THE DEALER HAD PLAYED A GAME WITH THE ROOF. BASICALLY, THE SAME THING AS PEOPLE DO TO AIR CONDITIONING IN A CAR, WHERE THEY TOP OFF WITH FREON, THIS DEALER TOPPED BROKEN HYDROLICS WITH FLUID SO THAT THE ROOF WOULD GO DOWN FOR THE PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET. HE SHOWED US ONCE THE ROOF GOING DOWN WHEN WE PURCHASED THE CAR. WE ALSO TOLD HIM THAT WE EXPECT SOME LITTLE THINGS NEED FIXING, BUT NOT $2500 WORTH OF DAMAGES TO THIS CAR. HE WAS THE NASTIEST PERSON WHEN WE CALLED BACK 3 DAYS LATER TO COMPLAIN THAT THEY DID NOT TELL US THE ROOF WAS NOT WORKING. HE SAID HE HAS PROOF AND THAT THE PHOTO ON THE INTERNET SHOWED THE ROOF WAS DOWN. THE THING IS WITH THIS CAR, THE ROOF CAN GO UP AND DOWN MANUALLY SO THAT WIS NOT PROOF AT ALL. HE WAS THE BIGGEST RUDEST PIG ON THE PHONE. HE TOLD US THAT MAYBE HE COULD HELP US BY REFFERRING TO A GOOD FRIEND OF HIS WHO WORKS ON MERCEDED VEHICLES AND THAT HE COULD GET OUR QUOTE FROM MERCEDED BEAT BY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. WE CALLED FOR OVER 5 WEEKS AND HE NEVER RETURNED OUR CALLS. WE CALLED AND SPOKE TO ANOTHER GUY AND TOLD HIM WE ARE NOW PURSUING LEGAL ADVICE, THEY DID NOT CARE. THEY PREACH THEY HAVE A FAMILY BUSINESS, MAYBE A MAFIA FAMILY BECAUSE THEY ARE CROOKS. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER. OH MY!!! We were in the process of getting financing for a conversion van from this company. I am so glad I found this review before we proceeded with the deal. This van is not inexpensive and the trip to Florida would have been an ordeal because I am handicapped

Poor Business Ethics

So gave Frank a 500.00 deposit on a 2003 Dodge Van asked all the questions about it 1st question was the paint any good he said "Like Brand New" so I buy a plane ticket from CT to Fla. Frank picks me up at airport and as soon as we pull into his place I could see that the paint on the van was bad and just waxed over to look good I know cars have been in the business 28 yrs...So I said the paint is peeling and burned through in spots he says I will have my painter "FIX" it in about a half hour it will be all set. Look for a $10,000.00 2003 van I want good paint not some Half A*^ Touch up so I tell him no Thanks I look around his lot to see if anything was appealing to no avail so I said I would just go back home so he calls me a cab 40 bucks later I am at the airport and head home. So I get home and send him an e mail to say send me my 500.00 deposit back no reply send, another no reply so I go through Pay Pal and they say no tangible goods so I call him puts me on hold for ever so I hang up end of story NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL GOOD BUSINESS .. I have been in business for 18yrs and would never TAKE any-ones money unless they got something in return...
