Fluoride Treatment
Dental Sealants
When we apply a dental sealant, we paint a plastic coating on top of your teeth. This makes your teeth smooth getting rid of the rough edges, depressions, and grooves that are commonly found on teeth. It is essentially a protective coating against tooth decay and cavities.

Fillings
As a general dentist Dr. Murphy can take care of all of your general dental needs including basic preventative and periodontal care, root canals, composite or amalgam fillings and cosmetic bonding. At your first visit, we will do a thorough, comprehensive exam, x-rays if needed, and clean your teeth. Your second appointment will be to sit and talk with Dr. Murphy about the findings of your exam, and any treatment that is necessary.
Resin Composite
Dental fillings are used to fill cavities and repair cracked or broken teeth. Fillings can be done with gold, porcelain, or silver amalgam, but is most commonly done with materials called composite resin fillings that are designed to match the color of your teeth.
Veneers
Veneers are thin shells intended to cover the front side of teeth to hide stains, chips, decay, or irregularities. A dental technician uses a model created by a dentist to make a custom shell out of specials materials.
Crowns
A tooth can lose its normal shape and size for a variety of reasons. A crown covers your tooth to help restore its original shape and size. Crowns can also be used to make teeth stronger and look better.
Bridges
Bridges can be removable or fixed. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned by patients, whereas fixed bridges have to be removed by a dentist. Bridges can be implanted to the jaw or under the gums. With so many options, it is important to consult with your dentist about which type of bridge is best for you.

Root Canal Treatment

Phase I Periodontal Therapy is a procedure used to help stop the progression of your periodontal disease. Our goal is to help avoid periodontal surgery in the future – a cost of over six thousand dollars.
Deep Cleaning
Our procedure consists of scaling and root planning, use of our soft tissue diode laser and placement of an antimicrobial agent.

Dentures
Bridges can solve the issue of missing teeth. Similar to dentures, bridges replace gaps in your smile with artificial teeth. Bridges can be made from a variety of materials including porcelain, gold, and alloys.

Dental Implants
Implants need healthy bone to adhere to. In some cases, there just isn’t enough bone to adhere to. This is often corrected with a more invasive procedure to expand and grow new bone. This can take several months before the implant can be placed.
