Many issues here. I was told when I ordered, to pick up by 3pm. I got a call the day of pick up at 12:15 to pick up by 1pm as they were closing early and she had personal things to do. When I got there, I saw they had spelled my daughters name wrong, and she could not fix it. When I told here that that was unacceptable, she told me "don't sweat the small stuff". I guess SPELLING is small suff at this bakery. Then i discovered the decorating was amateurish, I could see the cake through the icing and above all, the cake was really dry. I asked the girl when the owner would be in and she said I don't know, maybe tomorrow.
I try to support local small businesses, but will never return here.

Many issues with this place!!!
1) I was told to pick up my cake at 3pm. I was called at 12:15 on the day of pick up, andcwas told to be there by 1pm as they had personal things to do and were closing. I dropped everything and went there. And when I got there, my daughters name was spelled wrong, and she told me there was nothing she could do. When I complained more, she told me ""don't sweat the small stuff"". I guess SPELLING at this cake shop is small stuff. On top of all this, the decorating was amateurish, you could see the cake through the frosting, and the cake itself was really dry.
Bad cake, bad attitudes = No more cakes from this place, BEWARE!!!!!
We placed an order for my son's 1st birthday with sweets 21. The cakes looked nice in the "cake book" and they said to bring back the invitation and they could take "inspiration" from that for the cakes. Well the day came for the party and we went to pick it up. They were 45 minutes late with the cake. Mind you we placed this order a week before. The cake looked like something a 6 year-old would do. The "inspiration" took the form of two kites. The invitation was a picture of animals in an airplane towing a sign that had the party details and they took inspiration from a small little kite in the very corner of the invitation. The baby cake was simple cake that just had the 1st birthday greeting accented with pink dots. This was a cake for a boy. It nearly ruined the day but we wouldn't let it. Also when the man called the next day after we demanded our money back he said the directions on the order were for BALLOONS! WOW! What a complete lack of organization and professionalism.
sweets 21 is sweets 0 in my book. Beware what you see in the book is nothing like the cake you will receive.
