The Danella Companies are utility contractors that specialize in the telephone, gas, electrical and water industries. They have offices in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia and Canada. The companies' divisions include utility construction, equipment rentals, engineering, real estate and highway systems. The divisions perform work on maintenance contracts with Bell Atlantic, Cincinnati Bell, GTE Ohio, Bell South, SBC and US West Communications. Additionally, their long distance and line services companies have completed miles of fiber optic cable construction on urban, suburban, rural and aerial rights of way for companies, such as AT&T and MCI, as well as TCG, MFN, PECO Hyperion and several competitive local exchange carriers. The Danella Companies also own an on-track rail plow and rail mounted rock saw capable of plowing and trenching in railroad rights of way.
