I went to Lowes today to return a few ineffective items that I recently purchased.
Upon going to Service Desk, I was informed that there was no money in cash register,
and was told that I'd have to wait a short time to get refund. So associate took my items
and put them on the side,and handed me back my receipts. I went and did some shopping there,
I had to get parts to fix drain in kitchen sink. I paid for the parts, and went back to the Service Desk,
where the girl who waited on me was unavailable, and lo and behold, my parts disappeared !!
No one knew who the associate was, and the other girl there, who was there when I first took items back,
said she was on break then, not at register (which she was) when I returned items.
It turned into a big fiascal, had to walk around with associate to try to point out original girl who waited on me.
We could not find her, and associate said maybe she was on lunch. I spotted the items in a cart behind desk,
but was treated like a liar, and there was lots of "whispering" going on between associates, including the one who was
there in beginning,even tho she said she was on break at the time.
Finally after phone calls, and humiliation, I was given my refund.
I've been there numerous times in the last 2 weeks, and have spent many dollars....
but Lord granted, I will not be giving them any more business-even tho there are truly nice associates there,
but not the ones at the service desk !!!
Some people should clean the rest rooms, instead of dealing with the public !!!
All I can say is make sure you get what you need, so you don't have to return anything. Then you will be
satisfied. People with attitudes shouldn't work there.
But that's just my experience,and my opinion.
