The owner of this apartment building is a very shady person. If I could give this review no stars, I would have. He showed my daughter and her roommates an apartment that they loved, took their $500 application fee, never gave them a copy of the application that they signed, and told them all was good. He said he never has his renters sign an actual lease until after they move in. All was fine until a few months later when he informed them they were not getting the apartment they originally looked at, that he was moving them to a different one in the same building. This apartment was smaller and the floor plan was completely different. They had new furniture paid for and set to be delivered that wasn t even going to fit into the living room. They were told they had one day to decide what they were going to do. Obviously they did not know if they were going to be able to find a more suitable apartment before they had to be out of their old place, so he has now lined his pockets with the $500 application fee by refusing to return the money to them. Would you consider this Bait and Switch ? I hope he is proud of how he makes his money, screwing college kids out of their hard earned money. Just a side note, the better apartment they were approved for in a different apartment building, their application fee, $20.
