Provided by SuperpagesThis school is a great fit for my kids. They have great test scores. The school has gone through some changes for the better over the last year or so to better service the parents and teach the kids.

Provided by SuperpagesSPRING CREEK ACADEMY - ONE OF A KIND!My daughter currently attends Spring Creek Academy. She has never been happier & her results have never been better. Her excellent SAT scores are confirmation. I live in South Africa, my daughter is far away from home & the director, Mrs. Morrell has literally taken her into her home on occasion & cared for her like one of her own! I have great respect for the principal, Mr. Nelson & know for a fact that when converting my daughter's school marks to US grades, he stuck strictly to IOWA scores & gave nothing away. The staff are dedicated & supportive. Full marks to SCA! Trish Malkoff

Provided by SuperpagesI do not know a parent or child that has come out of this school satisfied. The students refer to it as daycare or retard school. They are right. It is little more than a daycare. During the time that my child attended this school, my child's reading level dropped 4 grade levels. My child was reading at a 13+ grade level upon entry, and three years later it was a 8th grade level in the 9th grade. If you want to go backwards with your child's education, then this school is for you. The teachers do as they please. The administration could care less. All they want is your money. They care little about the students well being or education. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. You can tell that the administrators are writing them. Just look at how each one comes after a bad review.

Provided by Superpages7. Do not expect your child to come out of SCA at a higher level than they came in. They brag on their scores, but these scores are taken upon entrance. I would be interested to see the decline after the student has been there a couple of years. Every student and parent I know has seen a decline in IOWA scores. 8. Do not think that smaller classes mean more attention. Teachers leave during class or just tell the students what to read every day and never teach. My child was without a teacher for a whole six weeks. They just played for 30 minutes every day for six weeks.9. Do not think that changing grades is beyond a teacher. These people do not have ethics and have and will changed grades.10. Do not ever complain. If you do, your child will suffer.

Provided by SuperpagesAwful school. Do anything but don't let your child go here. The teachers are not qualified, and they do not care whether your child learns the subject matter. Your child will leave with less knowledge than they came with.

Provided by SuperpagesTeachers here are allowed to give your child any grade they want. They can teach or just assign work from the book without teaching all year. They can give one test grade a six weeks and count it as 40% of your child's grade or no test grades. They can just make up a grade without giving your child any work at all. If you complain, you are putting your child's well being at risk. They are vicious. They will pick on your child, lower their grades, forget to tell the child the assignment and then count it late, or just not teach your child at all. You would think with small classes that your child would get individual attention, but they are just ignored. My child has had class for six weeks without a teacher at all. My child has had a teacher that just told them to read the chapter and assigned a test every week with no instruction given at all. I have caught teacher's changing grades after they were already recorded to make the student's average higher or lower.
