My daughter wanted cupcakes for her wedding on Sept 5, 2010 and we tried SEVERAL places. By far these were the best tasting in the DFW metroplex. We drove from Keller to buy these delicious cupcakes. They have several flavors, with fillings. Our favorite were white chocolate cake with mango filling with buttercreme frosting. We ordered more than 200 cupckaes and a small round cake for the cutting. They will make any flavor you prefer. The cake tasting was great, they offered several cake flavors, fillings, frostings, gave us bottled water. We had more family members come along then we orginally said and they were wonderful about accomodating us. HIGHLY recommend Elizabeth's Cakes in Plano. Do not listen to the others, their reviews were more than 2 years old. Sore grapes.

love, love, love the tres leches cupcakes in plain, chocolate or pumpkin flavors. So incredibly moist and only $2.50 each. Compared to other cupcakes that are usually $3.50, there is no comparison.

Reading the first review about the poor customer service, I was reminded about a similar story that happened to a friend of mine. They messed up the order, used same excuse about poor english skills and could not fix without three days notice. They did not seem to be willing to make it right. I would never consider using them.

I ordered a cake over the phone (I live in Austin) for my mother's 50th birthday. It was a very simple order: italian cream cake, 2 square tiers, no decorations. I arrived to pick up my cake and it was wrong, they had put a square tier on top of a round tier the same size. It looked terrible, the corners of the square were hanging off the edge of the round tier. They explained that the girl who took my order doesn't speak english very well and messes up sometimes, my response: ""Then do you think she should be taking custom cake orders?!?!?"". They offered to fix it (change the round tier to a square tier) and took my cake to the back. 30 minutes later, they brought me the corrected cake, but before I could leave, they explained that they must charge me another $20 for my new cake because it actually costs more than the cake they had orginally made for me. I argued the charge but they explained that the owner was out of town and the only person who could dismiss the charge is the kitchen manager, and he speaks no english, seriously? I paid the $20 to get on with my day, but I will not be ordering another cake from Elizabeth's Cakes. The least they could have done was not charge me the $20 since I wasted 30 minutes of my day staring at cupcakes, waiting for them to correct their own mistake. Even though the cake tasted good, it was quickly overshadowed by the overall experience I had with Elizabeth's Cakes.
