Acqua Apartments

These apartments are run by UDR, a real estate investment firm. When we moved here after selling our big house, it was managed by Lincoln Properties. In the last five years, UDR has lumped this property with the rest of the "lesser" properties at Legacy Village. Our services have decreased as our costs have sky-rocketed.



We used to have our own concierge with an office in our building. No longer. We have a private pool for our own building. It has, however, been a battle to keep the residents of other buildings out. We have "exclusive" events for our building only. There is, however, a budget of $200 per month. If this is surpassed, we end up not having a Christmas party year-end. We used to have dry-cleaning service. No longer. We are supposed to have package delivery but now, it's only twice a week.

We used to be able to use the clubhouse for the whole village whenever we wanted (no reservations), After renovation, our clubhouse may be rented with a $500 security deposit and $500 rent for a 3 hour time block.



Nice apartment, great view, but it is going the way of corporate leasing at $2500 for 1400 sq ft. UDR cares about their bottom line, only and will not negotiate at all. People don't matter. They don't want to know you as a person. They don't care.
