The Angelilka is a boutique theater. I know that brings arty movies to mind, and, while that is primarily what is played there, they usually have a mainstream movie two playing. We just saw Up in the Air (can I yelp about that movie, it is awesome!) and Crazy Heart. the pros 1. It is hardly ever crowded. I especially love to do during the day, when there is almost always less than 10 people there. You can spread out and really enjoy a movie without feeling claustrophobic. 2. The theater is beautiful. The bottom floor has bamboo flooring, the top floor is mostly stained concrete, and their fixtures all high end. The seats are theater style and have either red velvet seats in the smaller theaters, or subtle leather seats in the bigger theaters. The leather seats are like the kind in first class or business class on airplanes. Very comfy. 3. They have a great concession area with food from Main St bakery across the way. You can get paninis, cheese plates, etc. You can also get beer and wine, and cocktails, I believe. 4. Their prices are very reasonable for the amenities. I think a regular show is about $9.50, the same as the AMC Stonebriar. the cons 1. The smaller theaters are quite small. Its not a big deal, but the big theaters are good size, and since they dont have huge crowds, feel even bigger. Conversely, the small ones feel pretty small. 2. There is no down escalator, which for me isnt a big deal, but may be for some people. They do have an elevator, however, which should accomodate everyone.

As with all rentals, nothing is perfect......that's the incentive to buy......but I thought the reviews posted for Cindy and Stanely were pretty harsh. When applying for our current rental with them, they were very open about telling us others also applied for the place and they retrospectively kept the playing fields fair. Cindy always answers her phone. After moving in, we noticed there were quite a few repairs that needed to be made, or things that needed to be replaced due to wear and tear. So far, every single thing that I have asked for has been done, big or small, nit-picky or not. We had to wait a few weeks for non-emergency things, but that is to be expected with a rental property. There is a ever so slight language barrier with their repair man, but he is the nicest guy ever, works super hard, and does a thorough job.....always with a smile on his face. And as for their accents?? Give me a break. We are a melting pot community, people. Listen with your ears, not with your eyes.
you all work hard there and thats good. you r a great crew. you intrertan the childern and thats what I like.thank you for everything bye and if I want to see a movie i'll come there!!!!!!!
