I am a customer of Tom Thumb. It is a wonderful grocery store. I lived in plano for three and have years but I have never seen an associate like a guy called Terrence. It was Monday 18th of July around 10.40pm, he was talking loud on his cell phone a private talk. I stood there for a while and finally put my stuff on the table. He asked me whether I have the Tom Thumb card which I didn't have at the time. If u don't bring ur card any reason , the other associates do ask me my phone number which he didn't. He kept talking loud while he does the transaction. I told him how rude it is to treat customers like that. I am sure this is absolutely not Tom Thumb's policy. This rude guy will be a disaster for this store. I hope you would train him to be a better associate. Just a big mouthed associate. I gave him 1/10 4 z service he provided me .
As someone that recently moved to Plano, I have been looking for places to eat that are not only fairly priced, but that offer food that is delicious. Whole Foods is not normally the type of establishment that I would frequent, however, I heard many great things about it, and was also pleased that the CEO was not afraid to speak his mind regarding some national issues. With that being said, i found my self at the Burgers/Pizza area. Due to the great first time visit, I have been several more times. Each time, one can count on Luke and Paula to offer great service with an awesome attitude.
This store replaced a Kroger that use to be here. It is strange because that Kroger I swear was deceptively large; You woukd think it was small from the outside, then walk in and balk at how far you had to walk to get anything at the back of the store. Trader Joes has occupied this same space and yet seems to only have 50% of that depth. Maybe they should think about that. They could likely diversify their product selection more than it currently is.
