This is a great auto repair shop in Plainfield, IL to get honest service at a more than fair price. Conveniently located on the Plainfield, Naperville, Bolingbrook border. I was over due on changing my timing belt on my 04 Audi TT, I had no idea that it could destroy my engine if it broke. Shopped around for about a week for shops in the local area that serviced Audi timing belts. I kept hearing about Last Chance Auto Repair in Plainfield, IL. There prices and reviews seemed more than fair, plus an A+ with the Better Business Bureau doesn't hurt. Felt good about there family owned, priced right, no corporate mouths to feed quote. Actually whom ever came up with that seems to be an advertising master mind. One of the top quotes I've ever heard and I'm in the advertising business. There quality work is just as good as their superior advertising hands down. They even got me a discount on a rental car at ten dollars a day. From now on I know where my Audi and I will be going, thanks Last Chance Auto Repair!

I brought my car here to have them look at the rough idle (possible carb adjustment). I came away with a new battery which was never discussed (wtf?), an "adjusted clutch", a large bill and a car that died because of electrical issues 5 miles away from the shop. There were no electrical issues prior to bringing it in. I can't say for sure that they purposely gouged me but the alternative is that mechanic is incompetent. Either way, I would advise you to go elsewhere. They did offer to have me bring it in to take a look but at that point I was so furious I decided to swallow the loss and go elsewhere.

My brakes went out on my way to work one morning. Almost had to call off. But lucky day when called Last Chance Auto Repair for a tow service, they were there within twenty minutes. They took me directly to there auto repair shop, right to the lift. They lifted my vehicle then showed me that my brake line blew. They told me I didn't have to pay for the tow until it was fixed and I pick my vehicle later. They gave me a ride to work. How nice and sweet! I didn't have to take another day off after all. They called me later told me they repaired my brake line problem and that I was good to go. My insurance company paid me back for the tow because of my towing plan I pay for. This repair keeps getting better. Topping it off there price was excellent. They had to repair and replace two brake line sections. Picked up my vehicle after work. Thanks for all the help Last Chance! I've already told my friends at work how nice your team is.

Last Chance Auto Repair For Cars Trucks out in Plainfield, IL is a very friendly shop that includes one catchy name that sparked my interest. I love my B.M.W. so before I went of course I had to do my homework. For one they have a beautiful website. Two they have an A+ rating with the B.B.B. Third the Bimmer shops website seems to list the best shops in the area to maintain my baby. So I called, I knew it was due for the 90,000 mile maintenance inspection. Spark plugs, ignition cables, check the brakes, basic tune up components, basic maintenance items. No problem they took care of everything. What a price difference compared to the dealers rates and all the other shops I received quotes from. I'm more than happy, so happy where I bought the shop a box of candy for the holidays. They explained everything clearly and to the T.

They towed it free cause of the transmission rebuild repair
First we thought the brakes were locked up so we needed a tow. Then after the tow that turned out to be free in the long run we found out something else. They connected their diagnostic scanner and concluded a different situation with the health of my vehicle. Several trans codes were in the computers history. Wow what a learning experience! I'm glad my buddy from church gave me there card and it was in my wallet. Then we found them on here and that was the least we can do. To let people no what kind of place this is. Fair budgeted price they even towed it for free. I guess they tow it for free with any major job or project. Thanks Last Chance!!

I brought in my subaru impreza right off the street with a massive leak in my powersteering pump. They took care of me the same day. Gave me the estimate up front and called me when the work was done. They will definitely have my repeat business. As a bonus, I got to see the new Skyline GTR parked right in front of their shop. First time seeing one on the street. Very nice ride!

I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!
My engine in my Acura went down hill on me and the dealership wanted 14500 dollars just for the engine i thought me and my family were in trouble. Well to make a long story short they did the whole job for 5500 dollars i couldn't believe it they got an engine for me and the car that only had about 20000 original miles on it.Thanks LAST CHANCE !!!!!
