My husband and I recently moved out of a HPCA apartment. Our experience was positive start to finish to the point that I am compelled to share it with others considering calling HPCA "home". As a college student I had my fair share of experiences with negligent, crooked landlords. I came out of that ordeal hoping to find a landlord that was fair, if nothing else. We were extremely fortunate to have found the HPCA community, which exceeded our expectations across the board. The property is beautiful. Outfitted with a fish pond and gazebo, it is easy to forget you are inside city limits. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time cooling off in the pool, mingling with the ever friendly neighbors. We took advantage of the grills and loved having guests join us at the picnic benches. The gym, while small, was never crowded and ideal for working out at my convenience without the hassle of traveling-or added payments. If you have a dog-THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. The HPCA is the most pet friendly apartment complex I have ever heard of, in any city. With a HUGE fenced in dog play area, dogs get their needed socialization and exercise right in "your" backyard. Between the doggy bag stations on the grounds and the attentive grounds-keeping staff, the common areas are always clean and well manicured. While many residents have dogs, children, etc. the complex was always quiet and serene. The staff is nothing short of phenomenal. The guard is the most friendly person I have ever met, always handing out dog bones and stopping to say hello. Ms. B and Hope in the office are personable and efficient. The actual apartment was ideal. With several huge closets AND a giant storage space in the basement, we had more room in our 2 bedroom unit than we do now in our two story house! We had no issues with outlets, and all sorts of things needing to be plugged in so I am surprised that has come up so frequently in other HPCA reviews. My husband is a light sleeper and was never bothered by noise from other tenants. The space was bright, roomy, and always comfortably heated. I would include complaints or negatives if I could come up with any (I have tried) but quite honestly, this place-while seemingly "too good to be true" delivers what it boasts, and is a real gem amongst the landlord companies that populate Pittsburgh. I would highly recommend HPCA!

Rockwel Reality was recommended to me by a friend, and I can say that their service lived up to their reputation. The apartments, I looked at, were well-maintained and cared for. Even though, for my own personal reasons, I ended up renting a different apartment, I want to commend Elisabeth Soose & Nick Didomenico in the sales office for their help. They patiently answered my questions and bend over backward to accommodate everything that I requested (fan in the bedroom; re-painting the cabinets; giving me parking space; putting up shelves in cabinets). They were willing to schedule extra showings at my requests. Such effort counts for something in my book, and I hope that others will recognize & can benefit from this excellent customer service when they rent from Rockwel Reality.
I can't say enough about how helpful Nancy was when I was purchasing my first home. Nancy made herself available to me when needed. She answered all of my questions and was very honest, it was not about just trying to sell me a house it was about finding the house that we loved and fit our budget. Thank You Nancy! I will refer you to anyone I know that is looking to sell or buy a house.
