Wonderful salon!

Just had my hair and nails done and loved it! I have very long hair and usually hair dressers pressure me to cut it, but Renee gave me exactly what I wanted. She called it a micro trim. Finally someone that gets me, I want long hair! She started with a mini neck and shoulder massage that was so relaxing. Dara did my mani/pedi and made me feel so pampered and special. Thanks Capretti!

Capretti & Co is the best!
I love Capretti! That's my spot. I get my hair done by George - who is awesome and gives me a mini massage before every appointment! Eyebrows by Renee. Nails by Missy, who is so meticulous. Everybody is very good. It's like my second home they make me feel like I'm apart of the family.

I wanted to love this salon so much!
I wanted to love this salon so much! I just moved from out-of-state and am looking for an amazing stylist to call my own. I've been here two times and I drove all the way from the other side of Pittsburgh to get my hair cut here. First time was a pretty botched haircut, but I decided to try it again, trying to stay positive about it. Sometimes salons will not give much time and attention to you if you are a new person and not a regular customer. I thought that maybe if I showed that I really wanted to make them my salon, that might help... The second time I made an appointment for a cut in the early afternoon. I was about 5 minutes away from the salon and 5 minutes from the start of appointment when they called to tell me my girl was not there and I would have to come back later that night to get a cut with another person. I was pretty frustrated but, again, I stayed positive and went back later that evening. The girl cutting my hair had her eyes all over the salon instead of on my hair while she was cutting it. The cut was so-so, nothing amazing but she styled it completely ridiculous. I asked for soft waves and walked out of there looking like a five year old who had slept with sponge curlers in her hair. I think the girl getting her hair cut next to me even shot me a few "wow, I feel so sorry for you" looks. I put my hair in a hair tie as soon as I stood up. They offered me a small size of their hand relief lotion for messing up the appointment times and sent me on my way. A few things; I was obviously unhappy with the haircut and the girl did nothing to fix this, I should NOT have had to pay for this hair cut and the inconvenience it caused my day, and finally - Capretti --- You just lost a lifetime customer! And the search for a good salon in Pittsburgh continues.... yeeesh. Ohh one more thing - whatever "enhancements" they claim they offer on their website is a lie. No make-up touch ups or stress relief treatments were ever offered to me.
