I had my first tattoo done by Bill Goldbach at Inka Dinka Doo. After four sittings I have an amazing piece of art on my upper right arm that I'm proud to be able to call my own. All the guys were nice, friendly, chatty and made for a wonderful vibe at the shop. All these things are really important to me as a woman getting a first tattoo, especially with nobody accompanying me to hold my hand. Bill made sure to explain the whole process, including chances of dizziness etc. He made sure to go slow at first and to keep up with telling me what he was doing and why. He was happy to answer my curious 'what' and 'why' questions. He made sure that I was clear about my aftercare and sent me home with all the knowledge I'd need to heal well and that I knew that he was available between sittings if I had any questions or concerns. I had no issues with healing and had zero issues or complications. I felt at home, welcome and unrushed at the shop and really had an incredible first tattoo experience. I already know what I want next and will definitely get it done at IDD by Bill!
When I was looking to get a sleeve done I stopped in a few places before Kyklops Tattoo. But after talking with Erin and seeing her work I knew I had found where and who I wanted to do my ink. She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to draw it up to suit me. After driving from my home an hour for my appointments I was so happy with the sleeve I decided to get another sleeve done. Erin was also very easy to schedule with as it took almost 6 months from start to finish for me to get both sleeves done. I would also like to comment on Pete Larkin who also tattoos at Kyklops. While I didnt get any work done by Pete I witnessed his professionial work during my appointments with Erin. Even with his nervous and difficult clients he was nothing but reasuring and professionial. Kyklops is by far the cleanest tattoo shop I have been to. I do plan on getting more ink done and I will definetly be going back to Kyklops. If you want awesome work dont bother going anywhere else.
Hey, my name is Tori i went to Kyklops as a walk in last week and got my belly button pierced. (Seeing as how every other shops piercer was on vacation) My piercers name was Paul he was a big tattooed man i was scared he was gonna hurt me. But he didnt. I was very scared(&& im DEATHLY afraid of needles-i cry when i get shots lol). But he made jokes and made me very comfortable. My friends came with me, 1 had had her bellybutton pierced already and said that the place she went to didnt have nice piercing jewelry. They had alot of different choices they had a ring, and different barbells, (metal, blue stoned, pink stoned,white/clear stoned). Those were the only ones i seen but there may have been more. They also told me to soak it in seasalt water && some of my friends said their piercers didnt tell them that (so that was a plus) I recorded it & put the link up later. TODAYSDATE:8/25/2009
I first walked in on a Sunday evening hoping for a walk-in. It was late so i had to set up an appointment for Tuesday with a newer artist i guess. After a while of searching i could not find a portfolio or locate any work by this artist and called the shop to voice my concerns. I was polite and did feel bad canceling with the first artist but the man on the phone highly recommended Joe to do my work. I had a modified image of the cover of my favorite movie done up on my leg and it looks FANTASTIC! Just some self inflicted confusion and an additional 2 days wait and i got exactly what i had hoped for and i would tell anyone to go see Joe for their work.
A month or so ago my wife, guide dog, Rosie, and I dropped into Art FX for the first time.My wife and I had a few tattoos between us but were very much looking for some artistic direction for our next selections. From the moment we were greeted by the world's friendliest receptionist, Jenny, we felt right at home. I began talking to shop owner Mark. My wife talked to shop co-owner Dawn. We both felt so comfortable with the cleanliness and tone of the shop we both walked out with great looking tattoos. The staff is courteous as well as talented artists. I'm headed back for another tattoo ASAP.
If you are looking for some artwork, this is the place to go. I was referred to Inka Dinka by a friend who had some artwork done there a few months before. I had a few drawings and ideas of what I wanted and Jesse took them and went to work. This kid is f'n talented. Professional, clean and on the f'n ball. If you want great work done, I highly recommend Jesse at Inka Dinka in Lawrenceville. If you want to see my tattoo email me! Great f'n place!
SO, I went in to get my tattoo and the pace was alright. The people were pretty friendly. I got an outline and at some parts the lines don't even connect. Also some of the lines are not straight where they should be. The tattoo is only about two inches in diameter and he charged me $60 for the crappy work. I understand they have a $50 minimum but $60 for bad art?? I don't recommend.
I have gotten 4 tattoos here. They are all top of the line and beautiful. Evan was my tattoo artist, and they're extremely willing to serve the customer. I have a conch piercing, but they didn't have any earrings in size 10 (that I liked), so I had them stretch it to an 8. They did it for free, and they are always sanitary. They totally rock!
"badluck123456" is retarded. Way to do ur research on something thats going on ur body permanently. Didnt you look at her while she was doing it and when it was done be like "oh god its so bad", instead u just let her wrap it and walk out and decided to look at it a few days later after u took the wrap off?
I got my body pierceing here and it was on a private area. The guys there made me feel very comfortable and were very professional. They were very patient and clean. They opened all needles in front of me. I went because my cousin got a tattoo there and her art turned out great! She had a great experience as well!
