They are the high class Japanese restaurant and as close to the real deal, as you can get in Pittsburgh. They have traditional dinning customs and a coses atmosphere. There is mush more then just sushi (by the way) here for customers to try. Japanese food is mush different then other Asian cultures. there dishes tend to be lighter on seasoning so you can really taste the ingredients. all in all i'd say it is the best place in Station Square. however the manager is not the nicest of fellows and could be a lot nicer. On the other hand everyone else who works there is a real delight. In fact my boyfriend use to work there as a sever and the sushi chef use to him 'superman'! lol
The service is great, the people are nice, and for the portions and cuts, the price is simply the best there is. This just goes for the Hibachi por…
Been coming here for several years now and I trust the food here. I trust the quality that I will recieve. I have to strongly recommend the chicken and broccoli with their special secret sauce. Also their signature fried rice is a definite must!!!!! Their fried rice is not premade at all. Unlike the other steakhouses I have been to. The prices are great especially during lunch. You can't beat a quick great meal for a great price. My family loves this place and the staff is very kind. Very generous. I have had several parties here, one for business, and a couple family gatherings. They certainly took care of all us. Sapporo I appreciate your great work and GREAT FOOD! THANKS. Robyn.
Bottom Line, do not read the One Star Ratings. This is by a mile the best food that I ever had. The atmosphere is a little loud, but that it is why this is the place to be on a night out. A couple suggestions, never show up on a Friday or Saturday Night without a reservation, you will never get in or wait for 2 hours. Make sure that your whole party is there because they will not seat you. Also, wear your Friday or Saturday best because almost everyone is dressed to impess. The only downside of this place is that it is a little pricey, but the extra couple bucks is well worth it.
