Pay attention to the reviews of this place. I had never sold gold before and I am extremely happy that I walked through their doors. I was in desperate need of some cash as I didn't know how I was going to fill up my gas tank the following day. They buzz you in, warmly greet you, and immediately business follows. Well, I was there when no one else was. They took a good look at my 14k gold necklace that I wanted to sell. The Guy there who was inspecting it was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the reasons why they put any item through a series of tests. Fortunately, my necklace passed as I'm sure it would. The process took less than five minutes. The best part is the payout. I came her based on the other experiences I read about. It's no joke; They are reasonably generous and I'm glad that I didn't take my jewelry to a pawn shop. I was expecting to be low-balled, walking away with maybe a $100. Oh no.....It was much more. That made my day. For sure need to be checked with them !
My girlfriend got ring from her grandmom... We went though gold buyer stores around the town but believe me these guys gave her best deal
I have been to many "gold buyers" in and around Pittsburgh. Max Point gold buyers on West Liberty Ave is absolutely the highest paying store!!! Every time I have gone to other gold buyers, they would give me a price without telling me how much my items weighed or what they were paying for gold that day. At Max Point gold buyers, he has ALWAYS made sure that I know what I have before he gives me a price. Each time I have been shocked at the offer he has made! This is the definition of an honest business, and an honest person. I have NEVER felt like I was being taken advantage of, like ALL other places will do. I have also sold a few gift cards and again, been offered WAY more than other places. If you have gold or silver or gift cards that you don't have a use for, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ANYWHERE ELSE, GO TO MAX POINT GOLD BUYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had an interesting story were I was almost accused of fraud for trying to deposit old money. Even though I was allowed to leave the bank they kept $400 of $20 notes from 1950. I had no knowledge of old notes being an issue so I immediately found an appraiser to assist me. I met Dane and he immediately had no problem taking his time to look over each note and actually took time out to explain some of the history from old money to new money. He was able to talk to me in terms I could understand. He helped me with taking the old bills after appraising them. I would say if anybody is having an issue or needs an expert in money, Dane is definitely the man to see. Dane thanks again for taking your time out of your day to help me.Just for people to know his knowledge helped me to get my other bills back to me, but lessoned learn do not take old money to bank!!
