Nicholas Mynyk has been offering private instruction and playing at private events for years. Nicholas M. Mynyk holds a B.M. And M.M. From Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, New Jersey. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, Italy. Nicholas began his music studies at age three and went on to study piano with Sharon Toman of Marywood University. He began his organ studies with George Castanzo in Scranton PA. Upon graduating from High School Nicholas attended Westminster Choir College of Rider University were he studied pIano with Lillian Livingston and pedagogy with Ingrid Clairfield and Ena Barton. He also studied Organ and Harpsichord with Gavin Black, Hymn & Service Playing with Eugene Roan and French organ music with Robert Carwithen. After graduating Nicholas toured France and Northern Italy playing most notably at La Madeline, Paris. He began his harp studies with Alison Simpson and has subsequently specialized in French Harp Music with Cheryl Dungan Cunningham and Andre Tarantiles. Nicholas has performed through out the Eastern United States as a Conductor, Pianist, Organist, accompanist, and Harpist. Notable appearances include Steinway Hall, The Julliard School, Princeton University, Merkin Hall, Carnegie Recital Hall, and Duke University. Mr. Mynyk has served St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, NJ and was the interim Organist and Choirmaster of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Trenton, NJ. Mr. Mynyk is currently the Music Director of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Newtown PA. At Sr. Luke's he conducts four Choirs and the professional Academy of St. Luke's Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Mynyk is a member of the the American Harp Society, The Association of Anglican Musicians, The American Guild of Organists, and is an affiliate of the Royal School of Church Music America. Mr. Mynyk is currently on the piano faculty of Westminster Conservatory in Princeton and accompanist of the George School Community Choir.

Piano and Harp Instruction: Nicholas has been a member of the Westminster Conservatory Piano Faculty since 2002. His students have performed in Princeton, Merkin Hall, Carnegie Recital Hall and The College of New Jersey. Nicholas has appeared in recitals through out the Eastern United States including Steinway Hall, Carnegie Recital Hall, Princeton University, Rider University, Cabrini College, Westminster, George School, and the Julliard School. Students are accepted to private study after an initial interview. Nicholas does allow students to enter competitions if they are ready to positively handle the preparation, stress, and success of such an endeavor. Nicholas teaches a traditional European piano method centered around the great German composers such as J.S. Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Schumann and Liszt. Nicholas is also devoted to the piano works of Rachmaninov, Debussy and Scriabin. Nicholas is committed to the French School of harp playing as put forth by Renie, Hasselmans, and Grandjany. Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies: Fees depend on venue, length of playing and the amount of steps for harp transport. A consultation regarding music selection is offered at no charge. Nicholas has played for weddings, receptions, teas, recitals, and religious services.
