I couldn't be happier with my experience at the Cat Health Clinic! I've been looking for a vet in the area that takes the time to check out everything about my cats, and Dr. Broadhurst did that. He's a straightforward, no nonsense kind of guy, but he really knows what he's talking about and has done all kinds of research.
During the check-ups he weighed them, took their temperature, checked their ears and teeth, and felt their abdomens. One of my cats has dirty ears that have bothered her ever since I got her six years ago. Every vet I've been to has ruled out mites but never went any further than that. Dr. Broadhurst explained everything to me and looked at a swab under a microscope and determined that she had a yeast problem in her ears. He even let me look in the microscope! He also explained a simple home remedy to fix this problem. My other cat had a dental issue (too much plaque buildup that was causing gum ulcers) that he took care of right there. He gave her a mild sedative that allowed him to remove the plaque with sonar technology and five minutes later she was better than ever!
His assistant was incredible too. She explained everything along the way and was very sweet with my cats. She offered to trim my cat's claws while she was under and gave her another once-over just to check everything. Dr. Broadhurst also took very detailed notes through all of this and typed them all up for me at the end of the visit. I learned so much from them and I know my cats will be healthier now. I also felt so comfortable through the entire process and got all of my questions answered. It was especially nice to be a cat-only clinic. It was a bit more expensive than I'm used to, but they are well worth the money.
Anyway, I highly recommend this clinic and will make them my regular vet from now on!
