The office staff that we dealt with beforehand were terrific. There was lots of communication right up until the wedding. However, that's where the positive ended. The driver, while a nice man, was pathetically ill informed as to the event needs, the air-conditioning did not work (and the heat index was 103), and my sister had to walk the driver through the entire 12:00-9:00 event. It was so disappointing! Although I contacted the office the Monday after the event and was told our concerns would be forwarded to the customer service person, we have not had anyone reach out to us by Friday afternoon. This compounds the feeling that no one cares once they have your money.

I've used Werner dozens of times over the years. They are well-priced, professional, and consistent. Their buses are always clean and modern, and the drivers are polite and courteous. You've got a customer for life with me!

I was recently selected as the chairperson for a trip to Washington, DC by our VFW post. Lucky me..... I have never booked a bus trip before. I have only ever gone on bus trips as a passenger with other groups. I didn't have a clue what to do so I just searched online and started calling places. I figured in my head, hey I get the cheapest price and the guys will be happy.



The first couple companies I called were nice enough, and gave me prices, but certainly did not go out of their way to make me feel that comfortable or make this any easier on an old guy like me.



Honestly, Werner Coach was the last place I called. I'm so glad I made that one last call to Werner! The woman who answered the phone transferred me to the sales manager, Lynsey. What a blessing! I apologized that I didn't really know what I was doing, but I needed a rate for a bunch of us guys to go to DC. She was so nice and knew exactly what questions to ask about what we wanted to do. Things the other companies didn't ask about rest stops, itinerary, she suggested places we could stop to eat and was just a joy. She was so accommodating even until the day before the trip when she called to confirm all the details.



When our bus arrived earlier than expected I breathed a sigh of relief. The bus was clean, the AC worked, and it was comfortable. The driver pulled up, got out and introduced himself and shook my hand. His name was Jason. He went over the itinerary with me to make sure there were no last minute changes. Everyone loaded and we were on our way. Jason's driving was excellent. He was very cautious and safe. Even in Washington, DC. There was so much traffic and some of the streets are narrow and he handled it like a pro.



Throughout the day he was on time and ready even when we were running late a few times. He pointed out sights to us as we drove by which was appreciated. We got home a little late due to traffic, but it was an awesome trip thanks to Werner. From the first call, to the time Jason dropped us off, they were first class. I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know!

I have been teaching for over twenty years, and I have never experienced a worse bus trip than I did yesterday. After showing up two hours late, the bus drivers were hostile and incompetent. The buses were old. Two of the buses did not have working air conditioning on a hot day. Also, the video system did not work on three buses. They had no means of communication besides phones while they drove. Two of the buses did not even have that. We were left having to walk for blocks in order to find buses for pick-up. The driver on my bus was actually yelling at us and cursing. We had to remain calm and not say a thing since she was threatening to pull over and not continue to drive. We were concerned for our safety, and one student was actually crying due to her fear of the driver. We had many chaperones and even the assistant principal that witnessed this horrible situation. I highly recommend finding a different bus company. We will NEVER use their services again. I can't imagine this was an isolated incident.
