Terros is a health organization providing mental health services and drug abuse/addiction treatment. It helps people recover from behavioral problems, including substance abuse and mental illness. Based in Phoenix, Ariz., it provides a variety of services throughout Maricopa County, Ariz. The organization provides an array of services, such as mobile crisis intervention, prevention of substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and outpatient treatment, to name a few. In addition, some of its specialized services include Life-Affirming Dual Diagnosis Education and Recovery (L.A.D.D.E.R.) program that serves people who are having difficulty managing mental illness as well as substance abuse symptoms.
