I get my dinner from Golden Panda at least twice per month and it is always superb. Vegetables are fresh and everything is very flavorful. The menu uses appropriate marks to show which dishes are too spicy for people like me, an adult of northern European descent raised back east. Combo meals are priced around six to seven dollars and include more than I can eat of the main entree plus crab puff and an egg roll. And no one has ever been rude to me.
The person who is operating the phones for this restaurant was very rude and hung up the phone on me. I would deffinately save the money you were going to spend on this restaurant and go somewhere you will be treated well!
I was planning to pick up a quick sandwich at the Subway restaurant (in the front of the strip center) when I parked in front of the Golden Panda. I decided to try their food and was very pleasantly suprised. The 1st time I was there I had a takeout meal of Kung Pao Shrimp. I took it back to my motel and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The 2nd time I was there (a week later) I had the Cashew Shrimp meal and ate it at the restaurant. It was also excellent and the egg roll, crab puff and fried rice were well prepared and an excellent complement to the meal.
The next time I pass through Phoenix (on my way from San Diego) I will be sure to eat at this restaurant again. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is because I only ate two meals (so far), but from my limited experience, it is an excellent restaurant and the prices are very reasonable.
