I went to Danny's today for an oil change and a car wash. It was my first time ever using this business. They had a special for a free car wash with a $32.99 oil change.
When I first pulled up, the sales guy wanted me to get the $199 detail. Then I could get the oil change for free. I said no.. I wasn't going to be spending that much. I told him what I wanted and he seemed to get an attitude. I did upgrade the car wash because i had dog hair in my car and wanted it cleaned up.
Then, the oil change guy came over. He said that I should get the same oil that the dealership had been putting in it. I agreed... but that was an additional $20. I didn't want to put the wrong oil in.. so I agreed.
I went in and sat down. I was called to the desk by another guy regarding the oil change. He said that my car, since it's only a year old, needed a fully synthetic instead of a semi-synthetic oil. That would be another $10. I was a bit disgusted and told him to go ahead and do it, but I wouldn't be coming back there again. He said, well i can put a different oil in, but it would be the wrong oil. Well... I agreed to the higher priced oil... even though I KNEW they were just trying to get more money out of me. What do you do when they already have your car?
As I waited, I heard the same oil change guy call up several customers in order to hike up their price. Then, a woman was called up and was told that they accidentally changed her oil instead of just washing the car because there were two cars with the same make and model. They weren't charging her for the oil change, but they had been given permission by the other lady who owned the correct car to change out 2 filters. He told her that he could put her old cracked filters back in or she could pay for the new filters. Well.. what was she supposed to do? Of course, she paid for them.
Then.. I had no idea my car was finished. I waited and waited. Then finally, I see my car parked and go out to it. They had barely vacuumed it and just shined the inside. It was NOT clean. I still had dog hair all over the floors and seats. The guy said that in order to get that up, I would need to get it detailed...
I will NEVER go back there again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. EVER. Unless, of course, I don't like you.

Provided by DexKnowsNot only do they not clean the cars thoroughly. When you contact the corporate office the VP Heather Hendon doesn't even know her employees or all her stores. She is like a regular CS rep. and sends things off a script...RIP OFF....stick with the 5.00 service it's the best your gonna getView Less

I stopped in today for a quick wash. It was just that, quick. My Tundra looks great, it was fast, and the price was more then reasonable. Give credit where credit is due my Daddy always said.

Provided by DexKnowsBeen here several times and always have a good experience. They do ask if I want other services but if I'm not interested, I simply say no thank you and am on my way. I would highly recommend this location as well as the many other locations I've visited.

Provided by DexKnowsI've noticed the service at the carwash has been declining. I used to be happy to leave a tip but lately, it's less and I'm hesitant. 1. I'm one with the last few stamp cards and receive a free one when filled, I was up for the free one and was charged $6. My stamp card had VIP all the way down and I usually received the same kind of wash for the free one.2. I asked the fellow to wipe a certain area and he happily confirmed with me that it would be done, it was not!3. At the wiping area there were three cars that came after mine that got done before mine was. The fellow wiping my car took some time to text on his phone. When he sprayed the air freshner in the car it was sooo strong that my passengers were gagging! There have been other times when I received an oil change and a smudge is now on my hood that won't come off and I'm always purchasing tire covers for the air.For these reasons, I'm taking my business elsewhere. There are options for me.
