My two daughters, 11 and 13 started at Paradise Valley School of Karate 8 years ago with no martial arts experience. Since then they have excelled in Karate, placing in multiple state, regional, national and world championship tournaments. My 13 year old is currently State Champion in Arizona, Regional Champion in Pacific Coast and Southwest Regions, National Champion, and two time World Champion as well as two time National Points Champion. She could not have achieved this level without the training of Sensie Wall, Sensie Hamel and the instructors at PVK. They have provide my girls with superior martial arts skills, a love for competition, and a level of confidence that most young people struggle to find these days. They have learned discipline, respect, and teamwork as well. I can't imagine my daughters training anywhere else but at PVK. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great experience and journey in martial arts.
When I first moved here to phoenix my children were coming from only private school upbringing I decided to put my middle child in this school for the convenience that it isn't far from my mothers house. She went there two years until middle school and I know everyone that works there in less then a year. The staff is organized and really concerned for your child well being the principal is terrific she has a great attitude and is very fair to every child now my youngest is going there since kindergarten and going on to second grade if you are parent that wants peace of mind of the safety and teachers being fair please give this school a try I know you will feel you made the best choice. ~~~motherof3
I and all my brothers and one sister attended Monte Vista Elementary from 1958...We still talk about how wonderful the teachers were and the Principle and what fun we had and how much we learned there-even more than in High School! Last Saturday night was my 41st yr High School mini reunion. I noticed all the Monte Vista clan all sat together and talked for 2 hour about the great memories of this grade school! I wish I had a class picture of my class from back. :( I think I graduated 8th grade in 1967. If anyone has pictures please post them here and on my face book wall. You can also email me the photos to ShowHOme2u@cox.net Thx. Debra McGuinn Savittieri.
