Thurs 3/10 I had left my PCP on Bethany Home Road and 21st Ave and was headed to my insurance provider to pick up meds and have X-rays taken. I just exited on Dunlap and my car was over heating so I pulled in to the DQ. I was going to let the car cool off and continue to 59th/Eugie Ave. The manager Frank Faria came up to me and asked if I had a problem. I told him the situation and unbelievably he offered to not only take a look at my car but to take me to my ins.provider to make sure I got there and had my X-rays and meds. He stayed through the entire ordeal and returned me to my car offering to escort me home. Needless to say, the odds on this happening are one in a million. BTW, the cheese burger, fries and Strawberry Cheesecake shake were delicious. Talk about wonderful service and a manager that has a heart of gold. I recommend this DQ to everyone I know and I have also made it a point to tell everyone I know about the DQ manger Frank Faria with a heart of gold.

When I saw a Culvers opening up near my neighborhood I decided to do a little research on them. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were voted "Best Fast Food Chain in America" in a nationwide study. Needless to say I had to check them out. When we arrived I noticed the outside of the building was as clean as the inside.....a good start. They only bad news, really of the whole trip, was the huge menu. We just stood there in awe of the choices we had to pick from. To be honest almost too much. We finally decided against the meat loaf and fish and went with the "When in Rome" stradegy and all got the signature Butter Burger. I got the double with fries and a drink. Best burger I've had in a long time. Flavorful with a great fresh bun. We also had the cheese curds (ok, if you like cheese curds) and sundaes for dessert, which were excellent. All in all a very rewarding meal.
I just have to tell you about the best spicy chicken quesadilla! I was having a craving one day after spending a grueling hour at the grocery shopping for bargains. I decided to treat myself at Del Taco. I decided to try the Spicy Chicken Quesadilla. It was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of crunch, cheese and chicken and just a tad bit of spice! I personally don't care for really hot/spicy food - this was perfect for me. If you're in the mood for a cheesy, chewy, chickeny, flavorful tortilla experience - then go check it out! You won't be disappointed. The good thing is they have many different types of food to satisfy any craving....even shakes, burgers and fries!
