My family is currently in financial crisis. My husband lost his job and my job doesn't pay enough. I'm self employed btw so I eat all my expenses and that makes it worse. Anyway, I haven't had to apply for assistance in a long time and I always feel ashamed to have to do so when I do, and typically the case workers don't make you feel better about it. They are usually rude and you can tell they hate their job because they deal with stereotypical welfare people. Not everyone who applies is that kind of person but I think the case workers see too much of them and become conditioned to thinking that the clients are "welfare people" who are just trying to make a buck off the govt. again not the case usually in my opinion but I don't work there so I don't know for sure. Anyway I had to make two trips this time around. The first time I got a woman who's name I don't remember who was VERY OBVIOUSLY having a bad day. Or she has a bad outlook on life. She was not friendly at all and was really sarcastic and rude with me. I was afraid to talk to her really and I was afraid I was going to get her again the second time around when I had to come back. I was dreading coming back because of her. She didn't finish my case the first time and didn't tell me everything I needed to bring. She left things out and entered info incorrectly (I didn't know that till round 2) and she made me afraid to ask questions. Round 2 comes along and I take my husband as he had to get fingerprints. We wait the 3-6 hour wait again. Only 3 hours this time luckily and we get a different person which I was so grateful for. This lady's name was Rose and she was AWESOME. She's the reason I'm writing this review to be real. She was so friendly and helpful and she did her best for my husband and I. She made my experience so much better and I wasn't afraid to talk to her or ask her questions or just have a conversation with her. She made sure she had everything she needed and didn't send me home without a verdict. She had a lot of customer service awards in her cubicle which the other lady didn't have, and I can see why. She was a ray of sunshine and a team player too I think because after my case she had to do a hearing or something like that. Some thing that people don't like to do and she told me that she does them anyway so the other people that don't like it won't have to. She was a nice lady and deserved a good review so I found a place to review her on and wrote this. If you have to come to this office, hope you get rose.

I started bringing my son here about 3 years ago. I researched many different daycare's before picking Kreative Kampus. I chose them for because they had excellent hours, provided diapers, great rates, solid credentials and it was on my way to and from work. Three years later I'm glad I chose them. The women there are friendly and always have a smile. If they notice anything different about my son they call me right away. They also provide "ouchie reports" for the little boo boos that happen in a little dudes day to day. They are even quick to tell me of any cute events or things that happened while he was there. Like most things nothing is ever perfect; However they have handled every incident appropriately and made documentation available. They even helped in potty training my little guy! It's also super helpful that the staff reinforces the values and acceptable behavior that I reinforce at home. Because of their support he was easy to potty train & is well behaved
As a parent of 2, all we want is for our kids to be in a safe environment and that would give us a peace of mind knowing that they are in great hands as we drop them off every morning and go about our working life. We have never felt any negative vibe or negative intuition about the staff and the facility at all every time we drop off our boys in the morning. Our boys have been enrolled here for over 3 months now. They get nothing but love from the teachers especially the infant room. Very nurturing and caring staff and the facility is very clean. In fact, the last 3 months we have been coming here, our boys only got sick maybe once compared to them getting sick almost every other week from our previous day care. Incidents happen where they get bit or scratched and vice versa, but they are toddlers and its bound to happen from my opinion. The staffs are on point in notifying us about the incident report and actions they took to remedy the situation.
I absolutely love this Sunrise. I have been bringing my son here since he was 9 months old, before that he went to work with me everyday, so it was beyond hard to trust anyone to watch him while we were at work. Wendy, the director, is amazing and always helps us when we need anything. Ms. Andrea in the infant room has been working with infants for over 20 years and it definitely shows. My son is still excited to see her and his other infant teachers any time we walk by their room and he's almost 2. Mona and all of his other current teachers are also some of his favorites. I enjoy seeing how excited he is to see them everyday! All around this school is clean, the teachers care about the kids, there's not been any turn over since we've been there and I'm extremely happy with the activities they have the kids do and the reports we receive daily when we pick him up. I would and have recommended this school to many!
My children have attended Kidz Kampus the last four years. I have never been more satisfied with a childcare center. The staff is awesome, you can really tell they value their job and the children in their classroom. They have fun activities for the kids to do, and field trips too. THEY ACTUALLY TEACH THEM SOMETHING. My four year old can already write her name!!! It always smells clean when you walk in the door, compared to other daycares ive been in where the whole place smelled like dirty diapers. They're opened on every holiday except Christmas and Thanksgiving, which helps me out as a single mom working full time. Everyday my kids come home with their projects and reports for the day that says how they did. They do an excellent job of communicating with the parents. I would highly reccommend this daycare to any parent looking for QUALITY CHILDCARE.
I was against a daycare setting for my one year old until I was at my end with finding good quality care for him at an in home facility. After visiting the Sunrise in Scottsdale, I fell in love with their concept. As a former teacher and seeing all the engaging activities planned I knew my son belonged here. We ended up enrolling him at the one on 14th Street and Bell and it was a better fit for our drive. I knew that I was impressed with what they were telling me, but I didn't know how much I'd love it until my son came home with so many learning crafts he did during the day. He absolutely loves his teachers and friends and wakes up daily wanting to see them. Knowing what I do now about Sunrise, I would never consider in home daycare or even, if given the option, keeping him home with me or his grandparents.
I have my son in the summer program and after school. As much as they have to do as teachers they always make my son a priority. He also has severe food allergies and they go out of their way to accomodate and allow me to bring his lunch in. Everyone there knows who I am and my child. I come from out of state not knowing many people and this experience allows me not to have to worry about my son while I am at work. They have even called me before a field trip to make sure my son was going so he would not be left out.. who does that? The front desk which is the pulse of the operation exceeds in organization and strong customer service experience. I am only saddened that I will not be using the services during the school year.
You have a family from Africa filing for child care. The mother's name is Salama Lupandu. She says her daughter is 16 years old and needs to attend school. She cleans for me and told me her daughter is really 19 years old and not 16 years old. How does one report fraud to DES? She is trying to get free day care for her daughter's child of 2 years old. This daughter also has a blood disease. Does this mean she has brought AIDS into our country? Don't we have enough on our medical system getting free medical care without allowing more into our country to take care of? This family lives in Peoria, AZ. They all are in the care giver working field. Salama works for Ability 360.
I love this daycare. Ms. Susie and Jim are very involved with what goes on in the classrooms and it is evident that they have genuine love for the type of busyness they are in. My little one loves it at this school as a 3 year old. It feels like home, and not like a facility of hundreds of kids where you are not sure what your child will be doing. At Susie Mamma Bears I feel my daughter is save, well watched over, and the right staff. Thanks Ms. Susie and Jim for operating a wonderful daycare!
Hummingbird Learning Center has been an amazing experience for us! We tried two different daycare centers before we found Hummingbird and right when we walked we knew it was the place for us. There weren't screaming crying children everywhere, it was nice and peaceful just like teachers are. Our son had some medical issues and they were incredibly accommodating, more so than any other place I looked into. They worked with our schedule and make us feel so welcome! We highly recommend this place!!
