It's a small shop from the outside and you could drive right by it, which I did. On the inside it is really a nice sized store that is well equiped with all your weapon needs. The staff are very knowlegable but alittle rude and indifferent wether they make the sale or not. Their hand guns are over priced genally from what I looked at by 20 percent. They do carry some very hard to fin d guns and was able to find three out four guns that I had been unable to find anywhere else. They will work with you on some of the pricing depending on the gun. They carry most every bullet you would need and they are alittle over priced also but for the convenience I payed the price on two seperate occasions. In gas alone searching for the equipment you need, it's worth the saving of time and gas to just get everything you need at one stop. The store is on the south west corner Of Colter and 19th Ave in Blue Letters.
I wanted to thank everyone at Shooters World for their time and patience they took with my wife and I when shopping for a weapon. We had looked at some other stores in the area but nobody wanted to take the time to find out what we needed. They assumed we were experienced shooters and was just standing by the cash register waiting for us to buy something. The people at Shooters World took the time to find out what our needs were and suggested a couple different options. Customer service was key and not only did we buy, we referred our neighbor and he ended up buying 2 guns there also. It’s nice to not be taken for granted and treated like a friend and not just another paying customer.
I can't speak to making a purchase at shooter's vault, but I did go shopping there and the person I spoke with was very helpful. He spent over an hour talking/educating me about guns I was interested in. I can't say that everyone who works at shooters vault is great, but if the service I received is any kind of representation I find it hard to believe that they would steal clips out of a new box...There is also the possibility your local gunshop opened the seal. Maybe you have a relationship and trust them, but it is possible (could be a new worker or disgruntled employee). Either way it would be good business to try to fix the problem.
