This adjuster proved hard working and competent! If you are reading this, good luck in your time of trouble, and may everything work out for you. I put together a few bits of advice i learned from experience: when using any adjuster remember commissions range between 15% and 30%. dont believe that higher commissions cant be lowered for your contract and are carved in stone. Higher commissions are normal in more complex cases! It sounds like a no brainer but everything done by providers/contractors comes out of your settlement, except for emergency services, and hotel bills. Let the pros do what you can't, but do it yourself if possible for a better settlement. Verify that your contractor was actually paid. Get all you can in writing. Beware overly simplified reciepts, insist on line item detail and check the addition. All this can mean thousands of dollars difference! If there is a problem you can submit your complaints to www.insurance.state.pa.us which is the insurance commissioner in pennsylvania, and of course the better business bureau.
Yannie and her colleague Tiffany were wonderfully responsive hosts! The location and monthly rental price of 917 Arch can't be beat. That being said, Yannie and Tiffany addressed any issues in a timely and friendly manner and were so lovely to my daughter, mother and I during our 5 week stay. We got ourselves a 1 month, inexpensive "Clear" 4G Wireless Internet Plan from a nearby store, and were good to go with internet and our Apple TV that we could watch on their flatscreen. The building does have a secured entrance and elevator and great AC (so good during the heat wave of our visit!). There is also an incredibly delicious Burmese restaurant called 'Rangoon'- around the corner on 9th street that you must try if you stay here! Also a bit of a walk away, there is the BEST brunch place I've ever been to called Cafe Lift (428 N. 13th Street). Soooo good! Enjoy Philly! :)
Yannie was wonderful to deal with before and during our stay. Although we didn't meet face to face, she was very supportive during our stay. We arrived late on Sat night and had no problem getting into the apartment. The Apartment was modern and spacious. In a PERFECT neighborhood. Walking distance to everything in Rittenhouse Square. We had our car and were able to find street parking within a few blocks without much trouble. There was a parking lot around the corner too if you prefer. The bed was very comfortable (much better than our mattress at home!). It was very bright and sunny and quiet. If you like to sleep in, and light bothers you, Yannie always give quick response when we asking for something! Recommend the building and Yannie
