Planning a wedding on a budget is nerve wracking. Searching for wedding bands only adds to the tension, wanting something memorable at the right price. I just returned from ring shopping and I'm actually smiling. My fiance and I went to Market Street Gold on a recommendation from my father. We were very skeptical. . Well, "lo and behold", this place was awesome! First, we were able to find street parking right on 10th. There was "kiosk" parking above and below Market on 10th, which surprised us. Then, we entered the store and were greeted by a pleasant staff. Maria was only too glad to help us and made us both feel relaxed. When we had numerous questions, Anthony, an owner, introduced himself. He was very knowledgeable as well as personable and answered all our questions. The atmosphere was so pleasant, we spent much longer than anticipated searching for the perfect rings. We were never rushed, which led us to totally changing our plan and choosing rings we never thought we would like or could afford. Sizing the rings was also an easy task. Even though my fiance wears larger than a 15, the rings will be done quickly. This was such a positive experience. We purchased gorgeous rings of great quality that will last a life time and we found a new jewelers for our family. This find will definitely come in handy since we have two daughters with a taste for "bling". Thank you Market Street Gold for your high quality pieces, great staff and excellent service. Check out their web site too for a taste.
IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO SELL YOUR OLD GOLD,GO HERE! I had some old gold, broken pieces, etc. that you're looking to sell, this is a great place to go-at least go in & see what they have to say.Chances are you'll get a much more fair & higher offer than other places on jeweler's row. Most places always act like they don't want what you have,& are doing you a huge favor by giving you a lowball offer.I've done extensive research of what you should get when you sell your old gold,& realize that in many cases, you have to expect to get the melt value (especially in my case, where most of what I had was mismatched,broken,and/or outdated),plus a store has to make a profit too,so I have a good general idea of what's realistic for resale, even with the rising prices of gold.I seriously almost fell over when he gave me an offer;I'd thought if I could actually somehow find an honest jeweler, that I'd be lucky to get not even half of what they offered me.I've sold old/broken pieces before,& you can't ever act eager or like you're super happy, but really,it took everything for me to keep my cool & pretend to mull it over.I'd highly recommend this place;I wouldn't have gotten a better offer anywhere else,& if you want to avoid the whole nonsense most places on jeweler's row give you,& get a more than fair, straightforward offer,I highly recommend this place.
"I don't know how I lived before I met you!!!" I am a person who really spend money on jewelry. I deal with many jewelers on a regular basis. Yet when it came down to my very engagement ring, I was far lost into the haystack. Since I am not, in theory, the purchaser of the ring, yet the one who wear it, we had to work with his budget to get the ring that I can be happy wearing. It was like a 6 month quest that we almost lost hope, until we walked into D'Antonio & Kline by our dumb-luck one Sat afternoon. We finished our engagement ring journey with a 'happy-ever-after'. We had gone thru probably 20 jewelers - new ones & ones I regular deal with. We were shopping for a 2+ carats eye-clean around G-I color with $8500 budget for diamond. It was a long, but very bearable process with John holding our hand. By the final chapter, we walked out with 3.15 cts eye-clean GIA center stone w/ 4.65 cts total carats. We pushed our envelop on the budget to close to $11,000 for the whole project, yet we can't be happier. Needless to say, D'Antonio & Kline is my jeweler from now on. Special Thanks to John & Jonathan! Now only if we can make the wedding planning as smoothly as dealing with D&K, we will be in the perfect world.
