After having my hair burnt out, ripped out, damaged by overprocessing, cut wrong repeatedly and dealing w/foul attitudes of beauticians in quite a few philly salons - finally this place got it right. I don't like hearing gospel music while waiting as I find it annoying but I bring my headphones and I'm all set! Rita and Reina are both good and turn out a few nice "do's" including my own. It takes awhile to get in the chair (less than an hour but more than 30 mins) but once you do you'll probably like it. My hair is growing out just fine now and although I hate having to grow hair back in that should have never been fouled up, but am grateful to have found this place via a coworker. they have positive attitudes and clearly get along well with each other plus you are securely locked in so no one wanders in off the street to harass, try to sell, or rob you! It's in a nice downtown area w/some street meter parking so you don't have to bust ur budget trying to pay for parking and when you get done if you want to be, you're already downtown. Kudos for this place!
Architectural Anitques is probably the most unique store of its kind on the east coast or for that matter the whole country. Tons of bars, mantels, doors a swell as unusual arftifacts. Great location and parking at the door, Friendly knowledgable staff was more then willing to help us. We bpought a bar and the price was very competive with other better antique stores of this genre but the difference for us was service and experience. Not to be missed!
Vintage Villa Antiques has a nice selection of antiques, collectibles and fine original art. We were pleased to see stained glass panels and a large assortment of table and floor lamps to choose from at this shop. Very nice store.
