As I scan through the FM stations on any radio, in the Philadelphia area, it has become obvious that we no longer have the extreme pleasure of listening to 'Smooth Jaz WJJZ' in Philadelphia......What has happened to this unique station?? Why has it just vanished from the air waves?? Many days I have listened to WJJZ, to get me through the workday. Many nights I lay in bed relaxing while listening to 'Smooth Jazz'. Now I can no longer tune-in and enjoy one of the only quality oriented music radio stations in the Philadelphia area....and I am truely disappointed, to say the least.... When the station switched locations on the FM band I was wondering if something was going on at the station?? Then things returned to 'normal', and I was able to enjoy the various jazz musicians once again. Now, all-of-a-sudden the station is gone totally! What is really happening at WJJZ, and why have you taken such a 'comfortable' music station off the air? At the moment the only jazz I can listen to is on CDs. Evidently there isn't a great enough demand for a good jazz station these days. How sad it is for us who appreciate the many jazz artists and their music. Please bring back WJJZ...Many people miss it more than you know! JIm Hughes Philadelphia/Boothwyn, Pa.
I sent an e-mail to the director of the company that owns the station. I was very upset that they removed WJJZ, Smooth Jazz, and replaced it with something else. I enjoyed listening to the music. It was great.
ILOVE YOUR STATION,I LISTEN TO STATION EVERY DAY AT WORK AND WHEN I AM DRIVING. THE MUSIC IS GREAT TO LISTEN TOO.
