The Pennsylvania School for the Deaf is one of the oldest schools that provide a range of deafness-related services to vision and hearing impaired people. It provides several educational and social programs to students to enhance their academic development. The center organizes a range of special events and classes that include lip reading courses, annual community day and athletic activities. It additionally offers sign language classes through certified teachers and professionals.
