Metro Laser

I bought a Groupon several months ago for 6 laser hair treatments from Metro Laser. When I called to schedule my first appointment I was told that there was nothing available for months- I did not complain. Metro Laser then called about 3 times to reschedule this appointment- again, I did not complain.

I recently relocated for a job about 2.5 hrs away. I didn't want to lose the money I had already paid for treatments so I scheduled my next appointment for a weekend. I was on my way to my appointment and got very lost having come from a new and far location- and no...I don't have a GPS. I called explaining that I was coming from 2.5 hrs away and got lost and would be about 15 minutes late. The receptionist then told me that I would have to reschedule. I begged her to let me come in so my trip was not wasted but she said there was no room. Now, you must understand my treatments take less than 1 minute from start to finish. I could not believe that there wasn't a minute to spare for my treatment. I will not be returning for the rest of my treatments. I think they have very poor business practices and customer service. I have also seen no reduction in hair and I am halfway through treatment. I do not recommend Metro Laser.

PS- I have never written a negative review before, but this situation made me so upset and disappointed that I felt that other people should be aware before giving their business to Metro Laser.

Metro Laser is great! Everyone is really nice and friendly and professional. and they put up with me being late for my appointments. I would definitely go back!

I bought the Groupon deal for the 6 Brazilian hair removal treatment sessions.



I went for my 1st session today and I was so nervous and scared. I am a very big baby when it comes to these things. I tried a Brazilian wax before and actually left in the middle of it, wax still on me and all! lol.



At Metro laser, Jessica was taking care of me. She is very nice and calming. She did a test area, which didn't really hurt that bad, I am just crazy and told her that I didn't know if I could go through with it. She comforted me as I was contemplating leaving and just giving up the money. She told me that it wasn't that bad, that she knew that I could do it and I would regret it if I didn't. She made me feel better, so I took some deep breaths and told her to continue. Then during, I was scared about her going toward the inner more sensitive areas, so I told her she didn't have to do that. Once again, she comforted me and told me that it wouldn't be that bad, that I was doing so good so far, and that it would be really quick and I am strong enough to do it. So I agreed once again, and she did the entire area.



Once it was over, I was so happy that she coached me through it and that I didn't back down and got the whole area done. I realized it was so quick and didn't even hurt that bad, it's just that my mind was making me so nervous and playing tricks on me as I was thinking of the worst. Jess was wonderful with me and I'm sure I was a pain. I also liked the fact that she encouraged me to keep going even when the company would have made out better if I left or got a smaller area done (because I already paid and told her I didn't even care that I would lose out on money). And it was such a cheap deal to begin with!



This was definitely quicker and hurt less than waxing. I wasn't even sore or red after. I am so proud of my self for going through with it and now that I know that it was okay, my next sessions will be a breeze. I am so happy Jessica was so great with handling me because I am such a baby. I can't wait to get the rest of my sessions and be hair free. : )
