This is the third time I've ordered from Golden Chopstick for delivery. The first time was good but I was still eating chicken and beef back then. The second time, I ordered Kung Pao shrimp and it was so vinegary that I couldnt eat the sauce. The third time, I ordered General Tso's Shrimp, vegetarian spring rolls, and hot and sour soup. The spring rolls were fantastic- light, crispy and packed with vegetables. The soup was ok, a little heavier on the soy sauce than I prefer. It made the color very dark brown and a bit too salty. The General Tso's Shrimp was really terrible. The breading was very heavy making the shrimps soggy and the sauce tasted as if it were thrown on as an afterthought. Finally, I ordered brown rice instead of white. The rice had too much water added during the cooking process and was so soggy that it tasted like oatmeal. My friend recommended this restaurant but my last two experiences have been really bad so I'm looking for a new restaurant.
In terms of service and delivery, I have no complaints. The lady on the phone was friendly and efficient and the food was delivered within 30 minutes. It's too bad that food was really awful. This meal with tip cost $18- too much for bad food.
