Horrible experience! I used this cab company twice daily for 3 years, then I was in a car accident and had to use a walker to get around which made using a good reliable cab co., even more important. I had some problems with a few drivers regarding assistance with the walker but nothing I couldn't deal with. One day I got a driver who was extremely rude and didn't want to take me to start off with but he did. #1 he complained trip was too short($6), #2 he went the wrong way resulting in much higher fare, #3 On reaching destination he refused to give me my change, I always tip! Driver should NEVER demand tip! #4 he threw my change at me and when he got the walker out of the trunk, banged it on the ground tossing it at me and started to follow me inside(co-worker stopped that). I called the co to complain spoke to dispatcher and Sharon(owner) stating I was calling PPA and filing a complaint, was told I don't blame you. Complaint filed same day. Service declined from there on for a week until I called to be picked up from work, told 10 minutes, waited 1 hr., called again where I was told by dispatcher that I never called, I stated that wasn't true and they know I called everyday, twice a day to go to and from work. Dispatcher put Sharon on the phone who also told me that I had not called. Come on now, really?, someone who uses your service twice a day for 3 years, suddenly doesn't know they called to be picked up? Get real. Not only would I NEVER RECOMMEND this company, I GO OUT OF MY WAY to tell me NOT to use them! It's bad enough when workers do things they shouldn't but when the owner does so and effectually calls the customer a liar. Well, all I can say is there are way too many cab companies in the city for me to have to give my $ to such people. $12 a day may not seem like a lot but it does add up and since then have moved and now unfortunately have to spend $25 a day for cab service. The one consolation for me is that I'm not giving it to Capital Cab Co! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
