STAY AWAY FROM BREES ANIMAL HOSPITAL... PLEASE SHARE!!!! On June 17th, 2015 around 11am, I took Queen into Brees Animal Hospital because she was in labor and had only had 1 puppy since 6am that morning. BREES Animal Hospital is not my normal vet. My vet is about 1.5 hrs away. Dr Roblejo Sr came in and did a 2 sec so called assessment on Queen and started getting ready for the csection. Queen was panting but very responsive..I could feel the pups in her belly still moving. They took Queen back and began her csection. While in the middle of the csection, one of the vet techs came up to me and said "we are spaying her as well correct." I made it completely clear that I didn't want her Spayed! About 5 mins later, another vet tech rushes up and says, "she needs to be spayed because her uterus is torn, I'd not her and the puppies will die." So of course, I agreed. I love Queen and wouldn't want to lose her.. Fast forward 30 mins.. csection complete.. her pups survived... but Queen was not still out of it. Dr Roblejo Jr comes in and clarifies... Queens uterus had never torn.. but had twisted.. making the spay at that time unecessary.. I was very upset but it was to late so what could I do. The Dr suggested I get milk replacement due to the fact that Queens milk had not come down. I ran to the store got the milk.. came back and they explain.. that Queen is still out of it due to the anesthesia. I take the pups home, feed them and set them up in the incubator.. I return for Queen at 530pm. They tell me she still hasn't stood but maybe with my coaching she would. So they escort me back, I find her laying on a blanket on a floor. My dog who has a new incision just laying on the floor. I get down next to her, start calling her name

. Nothing no response.. I look her over.. rub her down... she moves slightly but would not get her. I stood her up physically... she hunches over and lays back down. The vet techs stood there watching claiming that it was a normal response.. the nurse in me starts to dig further.. I open her mouth.. bingo.. I find the whitest gums... I have never ever seen anything like it. All mucus membranes white.. inside of the ears white... I immediately draw it to the attention of the vet techs.. they again tell me this is normal.. I call for the vet.. she looks attention has them draw a blood count.. she says it's low but again keeps telling me that it's normal.. I had to carry Queen to my car and immediately rushed her to the emergency vet.. where of course they rushed her to the back.. her PCV was very low.. they thought she was bleeding out.. Her WBC (white blood cells... which indicated infection ) was extremely high... Queen spent the night at the emergency vet, where thank God they were able to stabilize her with fluids... . The vet was unsure if she would even make it through the night... When I left the emergency vet, I called and spoke to Dr Roblejo Sr.. he was very arrogant, blamed me stating I knew the risks .. Had I listened to his instructions, I would have taken Queen home and she would have died.. STAY AWAY FROM BREES ANIMAL HOSPITAL. .. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH IGNORANCE AND DISREGARD FOR ANIMAL LIFE...

To make matters worse.. the puppies did not make it.. :( This has truly been a horrible experience.. One that me and my family will never forget. Queen is doing much better at this point..

I absolutely love all of the staff at Bree's Animal Hospital. My father took our pets there when I was a child and I continue to take all of my animals there as an adult. Unfortunately not every experience turns out with your pet being okay but the care is always exceptional! I have the utmost confidence that my animals receive the best vetinary care while there and I know for a fact they are loved! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Some of these reviews have simply got to be made up. I've been going there for almost a decade. I've moved to S. Jersey and STILL take my pets there. I board my pets there when I go on vacation. I wouldn't trust their lives to anyone else. Over the years, my numerous dogs and one cat have had various surgeries, and one received ongoing chemo treatments there. Everyone in that office loves my pets as much as I do and my pets love them too. I would recommend them to anyone and will never trust my beloved pets to any other vet.

I took my Yorkshire terrier here to get treated after being mauled by a pit bull and they wouldn't even treat my dog until I paid $400 on the spot. I was told he couldn't be put in surgery without being neutered in addition to me not paying a portion of the ridiculous $800 cost for overnight, fluids and stitches. My dog didnt need stitches I know this because I am a veterinarian student myself so I see things like this daily. I have never had such poor service in my life and this goes to show how financially selfish this vet is. They even sent me and my dog home all bloody and in shock because they did not recieve what they wanted. I will never go here again! I do not recommend going to this vet!

We had our puppy neutered at Bree's. Doctor Mike did a fabulous job and our puppy healed quickly; he was his normal self the day after surgery. Dr. Mike, Ilene and her daughter Dana are wonderful and very professional. My daughter and I are very satisfied with Baxter's treatment at Bree's.

My 4 cats have been patients of Dr Bree's for over 4 years....It was always routine visits until last December when I took my 10 year old cat Sandy in for what I thought was a small issue...Dr Marc found a mass and she was taken in on Monday for surgery...Dr Marc called me personally after the surgery and they encouraged me to visit with my "baby" during her 2 day hospital stay. I was kept informed and Dr Marc went over every aspect of her illness, and surgery and subsequent treatments.....Although we had hoped for the best, her biopsy came back as an aggressive form of lymphoma....Dr Marc took the time to research the best treatment for her and together we came up with a plan that worked for Sandy. For a month I was in the office 3 days a week for treatments and after treatments the staff would call me and inquire as to how Sandy was doing....I didn't just leave the office and was forgotten - they cared and made it known we were not just a number to them. I am now in the office twice a week and I cannot say enough good things about this kind, caring facility. In the four years I have been going there, I have never seen a cleaner animal hospital. When I dropped my cat off for surgery at 7am the girl at the desk was disinfecting and when I was visiting at night after office hours the staff was cleaning and mopping and disinfecting! Spotless would be an accurate description! I would never trust anyone but Dr Marc or Dr Roblejo to take care of my babies....

Doctor cancelled a surgery appointment two days before the surgery....This appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance and after canceling showed no compasion and avoided me on the telephone. Instead the doctor talked through one of his assistants and refused to talk to me personally.

Bree's Animal Hospital

My rescue dog of 1 year from the ASPCA had not been eating for a few days and her normally hyper and energetic self was being very different, We took her to the Vet at the ASPCA and they had explained they needed to do an Xray to determine if there was an obstruction in her intestines. They palpated her said yes she needs an XRay, upon viewing the films the physician stated that the obstruction had traveled from her stomach to her intestines and therefore she needed emergency surgery to save her life because her intestines could rupture. We took her to Bree's Animal hospital and they immediately got to work on my baby. They admitted her, we left after saying our ""see ya laters"" . About 2 hours later the physician called us and asked us to come in to talk to him. We drove there immediately. Apparently, my dog actually had an inflammed spleen, and it had ruptured. They removed her spleen and to their amazement it was 3x's the normal size and was covered in Cancer Tumors. They explained that due to the spleen rupturing her blood loss was intense and she needed an emergency blood transfusion, The Tech Donna immediately rushed to her Grandmother's home to retrieve her dog and use that dog to tranfuse blood to save my dog's life!!!! Lee sat with my Kasha for hours to ensure she was stable and treated her like her own dog. We came to see our baby and she ws very sick. The entire staff was so worried about our Kasha that they went to the resteraunt to buy her steak since she was not eating the dog food they had given her inititally to eat. There were about 5 of our family members inside the kennel rooom to vist Kasha and they allowed us to stay with her for as long as we wanted to. They sent a peice of the bad Spleen to get a biopsy to see if the cancer had spread any where else in her body. Kasha will be going home today to be with us and we will anxiously await these results. Everyone has their own experience with everything they do in life, and some may have had bad experiences and some may have had good ones, there is no pleasing everyone, but please be sure to know that these people saved my Kasha's life and we can never repay them!!!! They are compassionate, Empathetic, and very loving. Thank you all for giving our Kasha a second chance at life!!! The Regalbuto Family!!
