I think the people that panned this restaurant must be employees of other places on Main Street and are trying to downplay a fantastic eatery. We have been to Bourbon Blue on 2 occasions for dinner and both times the food, service, and staff have been above outstanding. Tonight I had the Red Snapper BLT and it rivaled the Texas Redfish I had at Emeril's. The fish was cooked so delicately that it literally melted in my mouth and the seasoning on it was superb. My wife had the Pork Roulade which also was worthy of being called true New Orleans style cuisine. Having been to the Big Easy itself numerous times, Bourbon Blue is the closest thing to actually being there without leaving the area. Kudos to the chef for bringing the tastes of New Orleans to a local restaurant.
