I can't let this go on. It's been bugging me since it happened and I have to tell someone. Don't let this guy con you! After my horrible experience with Bo Tow, I did some research. I broke down in Frankford one night about a month ago. I found a sign on a telephone pole next to where I broke down. I got a voice-mail but about 15 minutes later this guy calls back in a low slurred voice " you called? " I was desperate so I didn't pay attention, I should have. I told him what I needed and he quoted me a price. He shows up and hour and a half later. I was already nervous and when I see this guy, I'm even more nervous. This swarthy looking smelly little man with a devious grin gets out, hooks my car and gets me to the garage I wanted to go to, THEN he lays on me a price $50 more than he quoted. The garage is closed, its after midnight and its a bad neighborhood. He refuses to set my car down until I pay him the ransom. I have no choice. I pay him and ask for a receipt, No receipts. I guess when he saw my out-of-state tags he thought he would scam me. My car is registered at my parents home. I had to hail a cab to get home and this really ate me up so I did some research. They advertise that a friendly dispatcher will assist you 24/7 and is in immediate contact with their fleet. What it REALLY is, is one guy named Bob Costigan, with one tow truck, working out of his home with a cell phone ! No dispatcher, No fleet, and NO friendly service. Don't believe me? Look it up yourself. No address for Bo- Tow. The number is a cell phone. No office. Call the Philadelphia Police Truck Enforcement Division. They know his name well. They provided me with his license information. AVOID this knucklehead. There are plenty of reliable tow services to choose from, just research them first! Good Luck ! Oh, One more thing. Notice he has four previous comments? Two Glowing reports on the same day ! What are the chances of THAT being real? LOL.
