*****Delicious food, wonderful service, and very nice people. Split a roasted veggie hoagie with an "eater", we were both satisfied and very happy. Warm baguette, grilled eggplant, roasted red pepper, red onion, grilled asparagus, zucchini, and spinach with hummus. My daughter had a Parisian Crepe, with pear, brie and lots of walnuts and a honey drizzle...huge crepe and delish. Husband had a Crepe omelette with scrambled eggs, mozzerella, and gouda...very nice size and he was a very happy camper. The rose lemonade and blood orange iced tea were also wonderful. We give the Cyber Crepe Cafe high praise and thumbs up. Also great to see a neighborhood spot that is wheelchair accessible and spotlessly clean. A++++++
Good food and a good group of people that it bring's in everyday. Is just amazing. I eat there a least. 4 day's out of the week and order food on the weekend's after work. The work's are very professional they alway"s ask how are thing's and if you need anything. They are alway's explain what is good and what is on the memu and the spacial's of the day are. The owner is very talkative and is alway's enjoying the food with thr group of people that lava bring's in every day and it's a group. Lol. Cop's and fire fighter's and veteran get a discount. As well. One of the best place's to visit in philly. A must try. Stop in and grad your table why they are available.
Saxbys Coffee at Rittenhouse is a chain coffee place, sure-- but it is unlike any other coffee place I have ever been to. There are iPads attached to each table, power strips at each table to charge whtever you need (phone, computer, etc) for FREE, a computer corner with free computers and printers to use, and big flat screen TVs everywhere... NOT to mention that their huge menu is full of great options; tons of coffee drinks to choose from, FRozen yogurt, sandwiches, salads, etc. There is no technology (aside from free Wifi) if you sit outside the shop, but the fabolous people watching makes up for it.
My mom and I used to go fir breakfast every weekend and I go every chance I get. The description and writes about Sabrina's could not have described it better. It comfortable and welcoming atmosphere is created by warm surrounds, excellent food and a wonderfully welcoming staff. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Yes, it is small but well worth the wait for a table. Oh but be fair warned that you have to be as pleasant as the staff and other visiting patrons, it os a family like atmosphere that pleasant so go with a smile and an empty stomach! The portions will fill you up!
Kudos to Dunkin Donuts at 1420 Cecil B Moore Ave. I walked into the store the other day and my heart fell to my knees. The store was jammed packed from the counter to the back door. I was starting to get weak from a lack of nutrition. Much to my surprise it took less than 8 minutes to be served. About 20-25 people later I was served and on my way out the door. Not only was the service quick, the employees were hustling. Ever so nice to walk in a Dunkin Donuts with such courteous workers. Thank you workers on Cecil B Moore Ave!!
I agree with the review above. You gotta try this place. It is unforgettable! Everthing from the soup (that is made by her mom) to the deserts. The saute' dishes are also unbelievable and are prepared by the saute' cook Brian who has been like family fo years(he is Niki's brothers best friend) the boy has unbelievable talents and puts out the most deliciious saute' dishes. He works side by side with her mother and make sure every dish when you get home will be talked about to your friends for weeks.
I had to include a review on our experience with this cafe'. My husband and I were just walking downtown Philly and came across this restaurant. It was so nicely displayed that we had to try it and how glad we are. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the selections are the menu were plentiful. It reminds us so much of enjoying a meal the way the French do, calm, slow and enjoyable. Try it and I'm sure you will like it.
quaint little place at the train station where train pulls right up to the window. Everything was delcious espcially the lonely girl fries and the veggie reuben. Only problem was we wanted to be seated on the 2nd floor and they don't open it except for overflow or private events. The staff was amazingly nice and funny. Sort of like a Cheers for the milenium. Have been back several times and took my family!
My expeience at Niki's Cafe" was wonderful! Niki herself is such an unbelievably nice, personable and so pleasant. She never forgets your name and makes you feel like family. The food is top quality and the prices you can't find anywhere so cheap. If its not on the menu the kitchen staff are always willing to make whatever is on your mind. Try it, you'll be guaranteed to eating there alot.
My wife's Uncle, The late Eddie Quinn, owned the Empty and would close it from 3-7pm annually for Thanksgiving. During that time, we enjoyed wonderful Turkey day celebrations with family and friends. Food and drink were beyond compare, except for the raucously fun family atmosphere, which was even better! While it was not a classic Norman Rockwell scene, it is a pleasant family memory for all.
