I've been sending my daughter here since she was 11 months old. She spent 2 months in the infant room, which she loved despite my initially thinking it was a bit small. She'd cry in the morning when I dropped her off (typical), but when I spied on her before picking her up, she was always laughing, running around, and playing with her friends. She is now in the young toddler class & is transitioning quite well. She's now exposed to the "big" kids & is getting to do more fun activities. I agree with some previous reviews in that it can be quite difficult getting information from King's Kids. The office manager is a sweet lady, but often times my phone calls don't get answered in a timely manner & that can be frustrating. My best advice is to visit the center & forego the phone conversation. Ms. Hall, the director, is wonderful! The teachers at the center truly care for the kids & the kids adore them. Please note that kids >2 years are required to be uniform during the school year. There are strict rules & penalties regarding late drop-offs, late pick-ups, being out of uniform, late tuition, etc. However, these are fair & I've never had an issue meeting these rules. If you give the center notice, you have 2 weeks of vacation that you do need to pay.

Little Wonders Day Care Center is a wonderful place for your little ones. I am a parent of a 9 year old who attended from the age of 18 months upto and including Kindergarten. My son is an A student, on the Honor roll and his class persident. The skils that Little Wonders gave to my son are those of dedication and love of learning. My 2 year old has just began attending Little Wonders one month ago. Whiting days she knew colors, letters, numbers, shapes, songs and poems. I always knew she was very smart, but it is the dedicated, educated teachers that are able to bring out the best of every child. Little Wonders feels like home. The teachers have not changed in all of these years, that means stability. The owner is wonderful, she is understanding and caring. Always available to help or just listen. It's a safe, warm, wondeful environment. No wonder the children never want to leave. Little Wonders Day Care Center, I would give you 10 Stars, but I am only able to give 5. Thank you. Eva
In response to the review from a parent who was unhappy with the toys & the curriculum at Beacon Center: Our curriculum is full of creative, interesting themes and activities. We have a curriculum coordinator on staff who insures that our activities are both fun and challenging. We're devoted to developing the "whole child", & focus on value centered education where children learn "by doing", while having a great time! We do Math & Reading Readiness, Arts & Crafts, Story Time, Science, Music & Dance, Language Classes, Gardening, Puppetry and Theatrical activities along with free play & outdoor play time. We consider the many interests of the children as well as their individual learning styles. As for the comments about toys, we wash them often, replace them with new ones, and we are fully licensed by the state. I strongly suggest that you come & visit. You'll quickly see we're a top notch, warm, & happy place where "kids" get to be "kids" & who are sad when it's time to go home.
