Interestingly, the word and idea of xeriscaping was actually coined by Denver Water in the 1980s. Colorado ranges from an arid to semi-arid climate, and water is one of our most precious natural resources. Xeriscape landscaping simply helps us conserve and use water efficiently and effectively.

Ironically, most wrought iron handrail is used on indoor staircases where it is protected from the elements; homeowners then using wood or composite materials for their decks and balconies. Gutters
Measuring linear surfaces such as door frames, gutters, roof lines is easy. Take a measurement and then read on the box how long the strand of lights is – buy as many strands as you need to cover the proper amount. To really have these areas pop, double the amount and stagger the strands so that each bulb is roughly 6 inches apart rather than 1 foot.
Siding
I hired Alpine Contracting to do a number of jobs at my house after a major storm did damage to many areas of my house. I had basement flooding floor damage, window damage, siding damage, paint damage, landscape damage among many others. Michael and his crew took care of everything to where it looked better than new. Xeriscape usually requires much less maintenance than traditional yards. However, it’s extremely important that you do keep up on its care as needed. This includes seasonal fertilizing, pruning, weeding, and aeration. It’s also important to refresh mulch yearly and river rock every few years. To refresh your yard and keep it looking pristine, don’t overlook yearly power washing of rocks and hardscapes.
