This made for an excellent destination day trip from Traverse City. My friend and I cancelled our plans to go to Chicago because of a big storm. The store was clean and well organized. I loved that the boots were to the right just as you entered. Practically everything that I tried on fit.
The best part of the experience was engaging with Elena, the dressing room attendant at that time. She would see you come out to the bigger mirror and tell you about the fit. She was honest and frank. One woman needed a bigger size, another needed a different cut for her slacks to fit properly, and she rolled my hem under so I could visualize the jean with the shoe I had on at the time. Then offered advice on the look when I would be wearing the jean with a higher heal shoe.
Elena was so positive and had a light lilt to her voice. I could never imagine her having a bad day.
So, when you are trying things on, stay positive, we dont want Elena to become jaded in her dealings with customers. She is a treasure for that Marshall's location.
I am so pleased that northern Michigan finally has a Marshalls. (after all those years of being teased by the TV commercials.)
