Response to "sick dog turned away"; It saddens me that people wait until their animal is in an emergency situation to decide to establish a client patient relationship. This pet owner choose his vet when he went to her mobile clinic. She also has a clinic she works from in Trenton, FL that he could have used. It is so much easier to blame others for the poor choices made in the past. Our doors were open to this pet owner 5 days a week, yet he prefered to see a vet that is here once a month, this can hardly be blamed on Dr. Fletcher or his staff. As to the "money saving" excuse, this clinic is involved with a low cost vaccination program that takes place several times a year and is located directly across the street from the mobile vet. Everyone has the right to choose who they want to care for their animals but, having done so, do not have the right to blame others for that decision. My guess is that, in this instance, rudeness was not as big an issue as the fact that this owner was stuck with his choice. Everyone in this office strives to deliver the best service with kindness and to be curteous to all. We are glad that this animal is well and didn't have to bear the burden of the owners frugality.
